The idea is to reduce the dynamics of the vocal track while maintaining the overall original level.

I think Vocal Rider does the opposite of this, actually.

Do I understand correctly: you want the loud parts to stay loud, the quiet parts to stay quiet, but everything to sound compressed?

Automakeup is just makeup gain sort of calculated by means od ration/threshold (and Fixed)
which is one kf the first answers you got.
I sort of feel you need to grasp compression basics and aren’t really sure how to work with them.
