I changed it but in all cases, only # sign is visible for notes' names on the Tonnetz.

You were right, the Tonnetz always used the 'automatic' (depending on scale) setting for displaying flats/sharps.
Hold on, I'll upload a new beta version in half an hour with the fix.

I also re-write another problem:

I think three's a bug in the Tonnetz window:
Sometimes a weird behavior happens by clicking on the triangles' edges. It randomly switches to other triangles or random notes are selected. This problem arises when degrees (I II III) button has been selected under "For Chord Progression" but when I click on (C D E) button under that tab, this problem doesn't exist

FWIW, I'm attaching a file which exhibits the hung-notes situation whenever playback is stopped.

Thanks for the file, that was helpful. I managed to reproduce and fix the hung notes.

I can also add a specific question about it - what is 'Expression' as shown here:

If this is CC 11, then shouldn't I see the CC graphic? (which would let me try to mute it)

That is the Expression track variation that works on note velocities. You can make it an envelope if you want:



You can add the Expression MIDI CC under the MIDI CC's tab.

I was clicking a lot near the triangle edges with various zoom settings. I am sorry, I could not reproduce this.

Personally, I'd just put an asterisk at the end of each line and then at the top of the category show the explanation just once:

* = (+Shift: Ghosts, +Ctrl: Magnet)

But whatever conveys the info, that's what matters!

Man, ya know what would be really really cool, a copy notes track variation. Place it on a track and do something like "copy all the 3rd's to this track", or all the 5th's, etc., you get it... You could extract out cool stuff like that.. have all your 3rd's played by one instrument, etc.. (maybe a mute original option too) meaning, (add the variation to a track to copy notes from another track to it..)

I was clicking a lot near the triangle edges with various zoom settings. I am sorry, I could not reproduce this.

Open the "Chord Selector - Tonnetz" window and select a triangular chord under the "For Chord Progression" tab and press the + sign and select another chord and then press the + again. Now we have two chords under "For Chord Progression". Close the "Chord Selector" window and open it again. You can see that those two chords are there from the previous step under the "For Chord Progression" tab. Now, if the degrees (I II III) button has been selected, and you click on one of the corners of the triangle in the tonnetz window, you will see that a jump happens in the triangles and corners to something else. You will see that your selections will not be applied correctly on the tonnetz window until you click on the notes (C D E) button.

Just noticed in latest beta update that the 'v' for voicing button has no effect. I'm on Win 11 latest update.

Hi.

The attached S2.musicxml file will not drag correctly onto the Master Track.

After attempting to do that, RC continues to display "Invalid or empty MIDI file." and no longer functions correctly.

I have other MusicXML files that import to the MT fine, so it appears to be some sort of problem with the combination of this file and how RC handles it.

If the file is mal-formed (?) then RC may need an adjustment to handle that gracefully.

Hi.

Here is a MusicXML file that imports cleanly into Band-in-a-Box,

but incorrectly creates a long series of blank measures when dragged into RC's Master Track.

P.S. the first measure can be disregarded, I manually deleted that in BIAB

Could it be a case of unrecognized symbols/text in the MusicXML?

Here are symbols I can come up with quickly that need to be recognized/accepted if seen in MusicXML dragged to the MT:

yesterday and today i try to download latest betaversion or final version . i get always "error to connecting server" . the homepage work. how i can download beta ?

I don't know what happened, update checking works here. Anyone else experienced the same? Maybe a server certificate expired?
