How do you receive Baby Audio Updates ? For instance back a while ago I got Parallel Aggressor via the Collective offer, but I just received a pair of download links on the collective page which disappeared after the offer was ended.
Similarly here, you get a specific download for this version of Comeback Kid. How do you get fixes?

I think maybe the promotion just gives you a raw serial code, not an activation code.

Windows 7, which some of my hardware's last drivers with librarian/editors require. Although it appears "dated" in OS GUI terms, it actually runs superior to these newer OSs since the the new ones demand so much of the resources and their connections to themselves. I plan on actually making my dual CPU computer a triple boot with Ubuntu Studio next instead of running it from USB.Examigan wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2024 10:41 amWhat is your other OS? It works for me here with Windows 11.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is kind of unsafe to use Windows 7 in 2024. Even with all possible precautions, I wouldn't want to put that on my main system, because of possible security vulnerabilities.BBFG# wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2024 4:36 pm Windows 7, which some of my hardware's last drivers with librarian/editors require.
Later versions of windows can get quite "bloated", but there are great debloating tools. Also, there's this interesting thing called Windows Ameliorated, which is a whole other topic of conversation (there are two "playbooks" called Atlas OS and Revi OS), but it aims to "optimise" (aka tweak windows) to make it quicker. It definitely has some issues, but is an interesting solution to test. It's annoying that you have to use these tools in the first place, but at least you have the latest compatibility and security patches.

It might be "unsafe" for constant Internet usage, but not as an airgap box. I only use a USB hotspot connection during required authorizations and immediately remove that when done. I've been stripping Windows since 3.6 and it's only 10 and presumably 11 that insists on putting it all back as quick as they can.wayford wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2024 4:45 pmCorrect me if I'm wrong, but it is kind of unsafe to use Windows 7 in 2024. So I'd be very interested in those tools and versions that eliminate that.
BTW, we do have a box with Win10 that we use daily, which is always connected. That one is sometimes a problem since it's just a single 4c Xeon CPU with only 32GB RAM. I am planning on increasing the size of its SSD boot drive. But otherwise it's mostly maxed out. And being able to strip it from the MS insistency would be extremely beneficial to us.
Maybe you could PM me some links to those tools and version so we can let this thread get back to its "regular routine"?

Ah okay, that's the information I was missing - you are right, they are serials, I had assumed they were just 'claim' codes.concealed identity wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2024 3:56 pmYou just download it from their download page at https://babyaud.io/downloadschrisstiles wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2024 3:01 pm How do you receive Baby Audio Updates ? You don’t have the limiter so I’d guess not. Don’t know for sure though.wayford wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2024 7:32 pm Does anyone know, if I have Saturate and Equivocate and then buy Punctuate on JRR shop, do I get the Elevate bundle for free? There's $6 of difference, so just wondering.

I also doubt it. But more importantly, don’t miss the free AX Chorus with coupon code ORANGE2:wayford wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2024 7:32 pm Does anyone know, if I have Saturate and Equivocate and then buy Punctuate on JRR shop, do I get the Elevate bundle for free? I think it's better to DM people the codes in private because multiple people can use them and may cause issues for them in the future

That's not how it works, redeem codes like this can be used only once.concealed identity wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2024 3:43 pm I think it's better to DM people the codes in private because multiple people can use them and may cause issues for them in the future
If you would send a private message to someone, he could just resell the code.
This way, it is guaranteed to be used.

It seems like there's no definitive answer. Though it seems if you own three out of three possible products qualifying for the upgrade, wouldn't it technically be free? I just don't know who to ask. Probably going to ask the support.Greenstorm33 wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2024 10:04 pmYou don’t have the limiter so I’d guess not. Or I'll just stick with Stealth as my main limiter (as I wanted Elevate for its' limiter).
