The Mac version is perpetually broken. Don't know about Windows.
I started on Logic 5 with a PowerBook G4 550Mhz. I now have a MacBook Air M1 and it's ~165x faster! So, why is my music not proportionally better?

As a Mac workaround, you can save a 'MuLab' preset in M8.33 and open it in M9, but due to Xcode changes the GUI is not visible.

Already possible via the project browser -> Samples -> Options -> Embed All.
Or via Project menu -> Manage Audio/Sample Files.
A trick: After having embedded the samples, save the MultiSample as a (temporary) file and check the file size.3) a way to see how many embedded samples there are in the multi sampler and the amount of memory they have taken up without having to go into the mux browser.

All the new preset functions in 9.6 are great, especially local/portable VST3 presets. Making presets easier to handle, lets you appreciate the wonderful world of all the presets in the world.
One thing that VstHost does, that would be a great function in MuLab, is when you save a preset in VstHost, its pre-inserts a standardized name for you. It will first list the Vst name "BabylonEx", and then the preset name "BA Sine x Sine 10", for "BabylonEx - BA Sine x Sine 10.fxp". Listing the Vst makes it easier to know what preset goes to what Vst in the folder, if you have multiple Vst's in a root folder, and pre-inserting an available name expedites 2-3 small steps to either copy and paste a name or typing one out.
I think it would add to the already excellent workflow in using MuLab.

Some way to pin windows ontop. When working on large front panels it is difficult to select paramerts to insert. The window undeneath has the parameter but when you click on it you loose insert function.
Be able to combine front panels.

Yeah that would be a good thing to have. I've had many windows open whilst making front panels, and it's hard to get to the one you want sometimes.

Would it be possible to show the markers in the clip editor or at least make it optional?
Also, when adding an automation track, it would be nice if the current value of the parameter being modulated would automatically be added to the automation clip.

Works fine as far as I can tell.
Try this Synth1 Veesteex that I made: https://pixeldrain.com/u/saEtdKBD
Its got a great little preset management function made by Patrick VeesteeEx:

I was thinking that maybe MuLab could borrow some ideas from that for preset wrangling in Mu10.

the one thing that brings me into ML - again & again
is the audios quality
it is different than other DAWs
-a little bit like a painting by Rubens/Van Eyck that has been restored after hundreds of years and you see/experience how the master intended it to be
difficult to make a top3 since i'm a newbie/noob on ML9, anyway:
1.group recorded audio (streams/traks) and treat as one (set 1 marker to rule them all e.g.) - edit multiples or clips and corresponding automation lanes grouped/together
2. automation.automation.automation (curves/tempo sync'd/parameter based, e.g.percentage of selected)
3. playlists which allow variations of the arrangement and can be triggered as a pattern with attached/corresponding follow actions - much like original muzys

Not sure what's your specific request here.automation.automation.automation (curves/tempo sync'd/parameter based, e.g.percentage of selected)
MuLab's Live Matrix can do this.3. playlists which allow variations of the arrangement and can be triggered as a pattern with attached/corresponding follow actions - much like original muzys

sorry if my tiny knowledge is fractioneous:
what other people requested before: the automation curves being more in line (so to say)
bonus points for them possibly being changed/edited by (parametric) values (+/-/% / 1/8th, 2 bars etc)
boss level to extend this to all parameters
i've not played with the Live matrix yet but what i saw from the YT vid it looks more like Ableton session view (great tool) - than a tracker, or referenced playlist
others: (being able to) address the slices in an audio sequence externally (by MIDI e.g.)
