I think I remember that's why I went back to v1.14. So, if you had an account at at Dmitry's old site you can still get it. That's what I did, and 1.14 does not crash.

Perhaps I'm unique - running Logic 10.7.8 on Mac OS Ventura with Intel i9. PA plugins crash in logic frequently -- if one is opened for editing, then I open a second, it crashes consistently (Logic exits to the OS). I have been in contact with PA support, who have been responsive and helpful. They are aware of this issue and indicated it's an Apple problem with Logic and their plugins. No timeframe for resolution (clearly, PA can't control Apple's priorities or timeframes). So for now, sadly no PA plugins here.

I updated to 2.02 on Intel Mac Mini 2018, on Ableton 11.1, and first it causes cpu overload even though it's only using 10% cpu with 64g ram, quad core processing, then it crashes the OS, which is 10.14, I know it's old but all my other plugins work fine. Has anyone had a fix to the crashing yet?

Old PA CEO's and brainwoxx Dirk Ulrich was one of the most arrogant and disagreeable devs, I have ever seen and heard.TS-12 wrote: Fri Mar 17, 2023 10:26 pm this is the company with worst support ever, ignoring a customer that owns most of their plugins is a slap in a face. very unprofessional
Ignoring customers is just one thing PA has learned from him.
Just don't buy any PA plugins,
why would one need them? ,
just re-sell them, be glad if you manage to get rid of them for 5 /usd each, some
newbies might want them.
There are mostly better alternatives,
about 98% of their plugins are just
mediocre or less than that anyway
and they have hundreds of plugins
and still not even one decent reverb.
Best customer service I ever experienced
is Waves, some years go support even called me on phone for more than a hour to solve a problem with my pc and I don't even had valid wup (expired!) any more!

Most PA plugins i own have been causing Logic to crash for me as well. I do really like some of the Brainworx stuff, particularly the Purple MC77 and 9000J. I also have Tantra 2 and like everything Dmitry does.
As a work around, i have just been wrapping those in either Waves Studiorack or Bluecat Patchwork. Not ideal, but PA's customer service is worthless (in my experience) and i don't expect a fix anytime soon. Hopefully im wrong.

Yea I'm slowly getting rid of all my PA plug-ins. It has been about a year and they still can't figure out the tantra crashing issue. They keep asking me to record a video showing how it crashes. I did that multiple times, their replies are usually "oh wow that's interesting, never seen that happen before"DCrown wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2024 4:18 amOld PA CEO's and brainwoxx Dirk Ulrich was one of the most arrogant and disagreeable devs, I have ever seen and heard.TS-12 wrote: Fri Mar 17, 2023 10:26 pm this is the company with worst support ever, ignoring a customer that owns most of their plugins is a slap in a face. very unprofessional

I've been using waves for past 20+ years and never had any issues , never had a reason to contact support. Their plugins always work and they have many of the must-have plugins

May be worth contacting Dmitry directly, he has always been really helpful when i had bugs / questions regarding Thorn. If i remember correctly i got my last download files for Tantra directly from him, not PA.TS-12 wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2024 6:09 amYea I'm slowly getting rid of all my PA plug-ins.
