I'd actually rather make some new synth based on that same idea. SubSampleSynth is currently quite difficult to change really. Old code, very very old

I'm just discovering subsamplesynth and it's neat. If you want to develop it, I'm interested.
One idea could be to let us import samples into it. As it is, I can only use factory content with this module. This is a powerful sound design tool and I think Melda would be better off for emphasizing it more. Sure, there are more complex tools but it's a gem.
Edit: Nevermind. It's possible to create a subsample library via the generate button. This thing is pretty cool.

When you do get around to this, it would be great to add a pitch tracking option. I've been enjoying this as a sound design tool a lot. Of course I can record a sample and move it, but this is more tedious...MeldaProduction wrote: Mon Aug 15, 2022 5:41 pm I'd actually rather make some new synth based on that same idea. And if you try to recreate this, I wonder if it would be possible to incorporate elements to make it act more like a multisample? I'm getting some very cool glitch stuff but to make them organic I'd have to modulate them as is with other effects
