I dont run Audition on ASIO. Whats the point, I do offline editing on it and my soundcard has direct monitoring anyways if I needed to record. I have Tracktion doing the tracking on ASIO and AA as a wave editor on my other monitor. It works seamlessly. The waves in Tracktion even get redrawn instantly when you save the changes in AA.

You already run Audition without ASIO - Audition doesn't support ASIO. End of story. Audition uses WDM, and unless you've tried running it as a ReWIre host you'll probably never have even noticed.rpc9943 wrote:thats freaking awesome! i should try that! how do you run audition without asio? do you use multi cards?

Anyway, can someone describe the workflow you use when using Audition and T1 together (for those already doing so). What tasks do each perform? I see that Audition plays MIDI files, but can you edit MIDI as well? Thanks.

You can use as many non-asio apps at the same time as you want. You can use them at the same time as asio apps too. The only restriction asio places on you is that you can't have another asio app open.
Or to put it another way, what's the problem?
