Can you not get it in "euros" from an online source selling it at 199 usd???
btw, try mixdsp.net http://www.mixdsp.net/help_answer.asp?ID=12#25
I wonder if there is a way to get it at a better price and since you are paying for just the unlocking code (the demo IS the full version) to not have to worry about shipping or any such things.
I'd email them and see to be sure.

Ahhh, the distributor - in the UK, I stay on the Izotope site when I click Buy and go through the buying process.cyphersuit wrote: If you access the page from germany and click the buy button, you get redirected to a german distributor's page where they want you to pay 258 euros.
About glitch - you might want to check out Turnado from Sugar Bytes.

As well as Sweetwater, Audiodeluxe is offering $199 via Ebay and is taking offers. Audiodeluxe used to trade as Dutchmusik and do a lot of discounts on Waves, Avid etc - they are legit and easy to deal with.
Little Fish Audio is normally worth checking out for discount pricing as well. They used to have a presence on Ebay but seem now to be selling through their own website.
Tony Belmont at Plugindiscounts might do Izotope stuff as well - so might be worth contacting.

Downloaded the demo. is there really no wet/dry knob? Some presets are just to heavy to have them come in at 100%...
edit: is there not one single parameter to automate? enable midi output is greyed out in Sonar 8.5

I do not remember the procedure, but you have to make stutter edit a "synth" in order to use it properly. Did the PDF load with it? It explains it and I remember it working quite well.cyphersuit wrote:Downloaded the demo. is there really no wet/dry knob? Some presets are just to heavy to have them come in at 100%...

Sage advice.hibidy wrote:Oh, and at first please DO apply a peak limiter to that track, I do remember being blown out of the water on a few presets.

Thx, but i did that. Without the right setup I hadn't got Stutter Edit to make any noise.hibidy wrote:I do not remember the procedure, but you have to make stutter edit a "synth" in order to use it properly. So it seems that there are no parameters to automate!? Strange..

I just read on another forum, that there is no automation in version 1 of stutter edit (statement from izotope).

So will there be any updates? stutter edit is also very cpu hungry, they could improve that, too.

They did 2 minor updates. I am sure another one will come around sooner or later. Haven't noticed it being particularly CPU heavy myself.

I know, it's been 13 years already
I was just adjusting some of my Stutter Edit 1 presets from Glitchmania as I'm still using this plug-in in my live setup and I felt like making a beat with them, the main groove is processed by Stutter Edit, the shaker uses Fragments, some extra blips are processed with Infiltrator 2. I was amazed and happy that Stutter Edit 1 still works on my new M3 Laptop as I prefer it over version 2 (which can't read presets made with version 1).

How are you still running Stutter Edit 1 these days. What DAW and OS supports this, let alone the older plugin formats these days?!?!

I have v1 and 2. V1 works fine. I think I prefer it.
