Hi guys,

Here's the latest update Rev 15364:

1. NEW: Added animations for granular osc view
2. NEW: Added "Replace with" menu for Granular Oscillator
3. FIX: Granular oscillator doesn't work with stereo samples
4. FIX: Key tracking doesn't have any affect on the grain length of the Granular oscillator
5. FIX: SynthMaster 3 crashes when the number of targets for a macro knob exceeds 16
6. FIX: SynthMaster 3 crashes when a host parameter is removed
7. FIX: SynthMaster 3 might crash when the task dialog is closing
8. FIX: SynthMaster 3 doesn't ask for folder selection dialog anymore when creating a new multi-sample
9. FIX: Folder selection dialog allows selection of files on MacOS

It seems to work really well so far. The visualisation helps and the replace menu worked right away.

One bug I forgot to report for a while: When I load a FX preset, the FX node is getting disconnected in the routing view and the other nodes are all put in the upper left corner of the routing screen.

I would expect the node to stay where it is and stay connected.

However I got a free preset bank (Nori Ubukata Sounds of the World) with my purchase but when trying to import it via the synth as instructed, I'm told there are none in my account. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but don't know what!

Did you download the expansion with SM2 ? Please do so: Click on the preset name on the top header, select "Restore my expansions" menu. Once SM2 downloads, restart your DAW. SM3 will see the new expansion.

No matter how I do it every time I try to import a sample or multiple samples I get a file missing error in the sample mapping/zone screen.

I've tried the New sample approach, dragging and dropping directly. Always the same error. I can see it scan the folder but the samples just don't show up.

The issue is hopefuly resolved in the latest build. I fixed several issues regarding sample import. Were you able to import samples ?

New customer So much stuff to play around with. A question: Using the Va oscillator and the sub together with exactly the same waveforms there's a small phasedrift on note-on when phase "Free" is turned off. And when "Free" is turned on i get no phase drift. I may be missing something here, but shouldnt it be the opposite? (I've checked so that the drift/speed knob is at zero)

Actually, regardless of you turn on or turn off the Free button, the sub waveform and the main waveform together should be "in phase" in analog oscillators. I reproduced this issue with the latest build 15364, will fix it in the next build.

Still having the same issue with resizing Synthmaster 3 on Windows 11. When I grab the handle on the lower right hand corner I can drag the container window larger, but Synthmaster 3 stays the same size within that container. I will try and figure out how to take a screenshot but that's still happening even with the latest rev. Also wondering when some of the presets will have that audition feature (forgot what it's called) and wondering what the FM presets will sound like. Would be great if someone would figure out how to get the original DX7 factory presets in there. Think it would be a big selling point. People love their nostalgia!

I think you are referring to the standalone version. I will look into that.

Guys, somewhat off topic question: What's your take on "Rent to own" model ? Would it make sense to make our products available with this model? (I am not asking for subscription as I don't like that model myself, but rent to own makes sense a lot as you pay in installments)

I like rent to own tbh. I've done it with Serum, Phase Plant and Current. I kinda love/hate the all-access model of the latter two- getting access to everything the developer has done is great but the deeper financial hole that type of access digs isn't as great. One must be strategic about it.

But generally, yeah I think people can easily justify the price of a few cups of coffee a month for a great synth.

Yep. If my accountant gives me the go signal, I will think about making SynthMaster Everything Bundle rent-to-own for $9+tax/month for 48 months. I am planning to use fastspring for the rent-to-own payments. and when 20 payments are completed, user will receive a perpetual license for SynthMaster One, 2 and 3.
