Work in Zebralette 3 *is* work on Zebra 3.

That said, there's a lot going on here, I'm helping out on all ends to keep things moving.

How will you roughly go about it? A stable Zebralette 3 release and then.. a Zebra 3 beta? Also, how much is missing when Zebralette 3 is released? I guess you'll have a lot of the components now ready from the other synths and projects, but putting that all together well and finding a good UI/UX is surely quite some effort, too.

Hi Urs, I tend to use Zebrify a lot with its modulation and comb filters, which enable me to shape the sounds in a way I imagine. I wish the modules from Zebra HZ were available in Zebrify. So I also hope Zebra 3 will have an FX version. Thanks

I remember asking this question like, 8 years ago or something and I think he said yes, it WILL be included.
But not sure if that is still the case. A lot can change in 8 years.
But lets hope it's included. That thing was basically like a channel rack for me.
Still have multiple instances in every track

Our focus is on the synth. We'll probably try to give it an audio input feature, which might do the trick without an extra fx plug-in.

Will that audio input feature be extended to Repro-1 and Repro-5 too? So their effects can be used on input audio please?

If audio inputs for instruments turn out to be feasible, the signal path will be determined by the voice structure. I don't think it makes any sense (e.g. business-wise) for us to bypass the voices and route the audio input to the effects section directly. As the voices of Repro and Diva are monophonic and always contain filters, I'm not entirely sure this is what people expect it to be.

What if the synth section could be disabled when audio input is enabled? Does that solve the problem?

Repro-1/5's effect sections in my opinion are excellent. So all I'm saying is, it would be amazing if you could give us an option to use Repro-1/5 as an audio effect. So for instance, when input audio is enabled, the synth section will be disabled.

I love the effects in those two beautiful synths, and I've been hoping to be able to use them on input audio. That's all I'm saying. Thank you Urs.

It would create several problems, from a design perspective, from a marketing perspective and from a business perspective.

For instance, we'd have to factor in that we'd be selling fewer of our effects plug-ins, particularly the ones derived from (or retooled into) the built-in effects in Repro, such as Satin or Colour Copy.

The best outcome here is audio input for instruments, routed into the voice structure. This seems doable without big changes to pricing models, user experience, marketing and so on.

Would you please explain what you mean by Audio Input for Instruments? Isn't it the same thing I'm asking for?

If it's the same thing I'm asking for, I'd love to have Audio Input for Repro-1.

Dear Urs, if by “audio input for instruments, routed into the voice structure” you mean we can route audio into Repro-1, then I would absolutely love it. Thank you Urs.

This would be perfect if it's implemented in Repro-1/5. Thank you again Urs.

Hmm, can't speak for anyone else, but for me, the beauty of Zebrify was that I could have one sitting at the bottom of the fx slots on every track, and use the macros to control HP /LP.
Then if I need something else on a particular track, I can just throw in a comb or whatever, drag it around, double click to bypass etc...
That's a level of convenience that I'll never get from buying separate fx plugins!

But hey... I guess I'll survive. Your reasoning is understandable.

Oh! And please tell me we'll still have the Dissonant Comb mode in Z3?
That's such a special little sound mangler

Gotta say i like how easy it is to synthesize cymbals and the like with spectral distance distortion and additive mode.
