I installed Waveform Version 13.1.2 (Built: 13 June 2024) (64-bit) on my Debian "sid" linux machine.
The download manager downloaded waveform13_13.1.2_amd64.deb file to my ~/Download directory and I completed the install manually. This seemed to work and it came up fine.
When I look at a demo song such as "Rapture", I see many plugins with a warning icon over them which when I hover over say "This plugin was not found". I see other plugins I have previously installed in Waveform, but the only Tracktion plugin I see is "Attracktive", which I installed separately. (I have problems with Attracktive too, but that's for another post.)
Looking at the description for Waveform Free on Tracktion's webpage, "What's Included says "Waveform Free, 14 built-in audio effects, 8 MIDI effects, 11 utility plugins, 4 built-in instruments". I didn't see any files that looked like plugins in the .deb contents; am I missing something?
Was the installer supposed to do something more than get the .deb file?
Does Tracktion Waveform 13 Free for Linux not come with plugins?

Rapture demo song has Collective, BioTek2 and DAW Essental plugins, all of them are available separately.

Built-in means built-in inside the Waveform. There is only single one binary in the package.

i.e. 4 built-in instruments = 4OSC, Micro Drum Sampler, Micro Sampler and Rompler.
On the left panel, if you go Search->Plugins->Name: Waveform, you'll see all included content.
