Blue Cat's PatchWork 2.68 free update is available, check it out!
What's New:
- New option to disable "suspend processing on silence" for plug-ins that do not report tail size properly (such as Valhalla plug-ins).
- Added .aif files support in built-in audio player.
- Reduced GPU usage under MacOS Sonoma, now that Apple has fixed the performance issue (Sonoma 14.3 and newer required).
- Fixed Mix parameter not always properly recalled when loading a preset.
- Fixed an issue with stuck MIDI notes with some VST3 plug-ins.
- Fixed a potential issue with VST3 plug-ins using unicode characters in parameter names and - values.
- Fixed a crash with some VST3 plug-ins requiring inputParameterChanges (such as Martinic plug-ins).
- Fixed crash on Apple Silicon and wrong preset names on other platforms when loading VST3 plug-ins that define presets without names (such as FabFilter plug-ins).
Enjoy!

Works well here, idk how hard would be to implement scaling per 3rd party plugin?

Have you tried the preview or V2.68?Karl Lenard wrote: Wed Jul 03, 2024 8:49 pm Works well here, idk how hard would be to implement scaling per 3rd party plugin?
Scaling per third party plug-in is unfortunately not possible, as it requires that the plug-ins themselves implement some form of scaling.
However in the preview there is an option (on Windows) to use system scaling for a particular plug-in in case it does not support High DPI scaling and has a too small GUI on high resolution monitors.

Sorry for delayed replay was on holiday. Probably i misspelled this, what i was though initially to make other 3rd party plugins resizable (no matter of windows scalling) so in practice those old plugins that we are attached to like CamelSpace no matter if it will looks blurry at least can be resized and used on 4k/8k etc in future. This will be handy especially when VST2 will be gone from DAWs and only "bridge" will be patchworks <3Blue Cat Audio wrote: Thu Jul 04, 2024 8:16 pmHave you tried the preview or V2.68?Karl Lenard wrote: Wed Jul 03, 2024 8:49 pm Works well here, idk how hard would be to implement scaling per 3rd party plugin?

If I did not misunderstand your explanation, that's indeed exactly what the auto scaling option mentioned above does!

Is there a way to disable track undo globally for good?
It makes problems with so many plugins that I have to disable it each time I insert a plugin.
No other host makes so much problems in that regard..

You can load the "Default - No Undo" preset (and maybe make it your user default) before loading any plug-in. That will disable undo tracking for all slots.
We are aware of a few plug-ins that do not like it much, but I am surprised that you have so many issues. It does not do fancy things, just saving the state of the plug-ins upon changes, in the main thread. Go figure why some plug-ins crash or loose their state when this happen!

Thanks.
I already found out about the default patch, but forgot to mark the question as solved.
Happy new year.

In 2017 someone asked you if you would implement "a way to link two parameters to one Knob" and you replied that you might. (In the comments: https://www.bluecataudio.com/Blog/tip-o ... utomation/)
To me this would open up a whole new dimension for using Patchwork. The more parameters per Knob, the better; like the programmable sliders in some Eventide plugins, but with parameters from all currently used plugins to choose from.
Are you still considering this, or did you try and it turned out impracticable?

This has been implemented.
Skip to 3:22 if you just want to see the macros setup.
