One thing that I think could benefit Melda Productions is a user updatable Melda Wiki. These plugins are complex, the library is huge, and insights get quickly lost on this forum. Users could update the wiki, each plugin could have its own page, posts from MeldaProductions, Martin, and other official sources could be quoted and linked as citations. Use cases, unique features, generational improvements, all could be documented in an easily accessible, well organized, updatable, and available location. Common issues and newbie questions can be solved easily with a link.

For an example of this, one could reference Fractal Audio's wiki https://wiki.fractalaudio.com/wiki/inde ... _Wiki_Home, which is full of valuable info that helps users navigate a complex and rapidly changing/updating piece of gear.

Just a wish that I think might help users navigate this huge library of powerful tools. Thank you

Melda would have to host it because I doubt anyone will do it for free. MediaWiki might be the software https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Download

I was investigating this a bit. There are a lot of technologies out for wikis. But MediaWiki is the one Wikipedia uses, so it'll be well understood and well featured.

I heartily endorse this idea.

Maybe not a wiki level yet, but there is a guy called CMDESS who did this https://www.dropbox.com/s/8x8a2dzg7k...1000S.pdf?dl=0 .

I like this!
I still don't fully understand the spectrum crossover, even though I've read the manual section. :help: How can it not be the freq spectrum... that just makes no sense.

Would be nice to have someone explain in a way that's understandable to non-audioengineers, and maybe have usage examples, links to YouTube vids, etc...

I wonder if we could program an ai to start this grand task, and when it's underway, I'm sure people would start adding!
(Don't even know if that's possible, hehe. Just wondering)

I think it could be useful IF there was an AI that grabbed, for example, all the models/knob names/pages of MTurboCompressor/MTurboReverb/MEtc... and placed them in a well organized data structure to be used to organize a wiki page. But I feel like it may take an experienced human to parse through the information available in order to consicely choose the right information to elaborate those sections. Us humans are pretty good at selecting the important parts, rephrasing in a more simple way, making metaphors/etc to make it more understandable for us. I wonder how great an AI would be at doing that in a niche field. I'm willing to put in some hours and research to gather info on these plug-ins and do some tests as well.

I can also imagine this being doable without an AI using the existing user guides provided by Melda. Similar to how you can get all the information from every DIV in a particular node of a website through using JavaScript.
