Coupon ends 9th August 23:59 PST.Plus, this will make you eligible for a free plugin with your purchase, making it two plugins for just $1. You can choose between Imaginando's versatile K7D Delay or Softube's characterful VCA Compressor and get it free with DriveMod!
K7D is quite nice. I like that it has a random LFO that can modulate the filter.

To be fair that Info is a copy from a Plugin Boutique mail. The K7D is indeed a Gem; also got that one for cheap but I do value it much higher, an excellent Delay for sure.

Is the installation process for IK Multimedia plugins still flawed? Their deals seem worthwhile until you read complaints about poor installation and charging customers for downloads.

The download fee has been removed.abject39 wrote: Sat Aug 03, 2024 7:39 pm Is the installation process for IK Multimedia plugins still flawed? Their deals seem worthwhile until you read complaints about poor installation and charging customers for downloads.
With installation, it depends. The smaller products make no problems, and the big ones are, well, big and still a pain in the backside.

The plugin boutique drivemod is certainly worth $1 imo. btw: if you try to get it free, they remove the free gift apparently. Though you can get it free with VC. I already have the delay, but went back, reloaded the page and paid the $1 for the comp...

Is there really much point to getting Drivemod if you already have Rift 2?... Do any of the Drivemod presets provide really interesting, non-obvious complex modulation envelope starting points you wouldn't get in other plugins with the same capabilities?pekbro wrote: Sat Aug 03, 2024 10:21 pm The plugin boutique drivemod is certainly worth $1 imo. btw: if you try to get it free, they remove the free gift apparently. K7D seems promising but it's basically just a tape delay plugin, and I have a bunch of great ones already. Likewise I have a bunch of great VCA compressor plugins. It's already to the point where I have too many great options to consider.
But this is a great deal if you don't have a bunch of these types of plugins already.

Probably not, but it is quite a bit less complex as compared to rift2. tbh, I often considerOu_Tis wrote: Sat Aug 03, 2024 10:32 pmIs there really much point to getting Drivemod if you already have Rift 2?... rift2 overkill for a lot of stuff, drivemod will come in handy in that case, though once I get
around to picking up corrosion from sinevibes (I like it a lot), I would expect drivemod to go unused. Of course there are loads of others that might be to your liking as well.
btw: I paid about $5 for the delay direct from Imaginando, quite a while ago.

A plague indeed. I had nothing but nightmares with IK from the very beginning. Will never deal with them again. Good riddance..TBlake wrote: Sat Aug 03, 2024 7:50 pmMy advice is to avoid them like the plagueabject39 wrote: Sat Aug 03, 2024 7:39 pm Is the installation process for IK Multimedia plugins still flawed?
