A plague indeed. I had nothing but nightmares with IK from the very beginning. Will never deal with them again. Good riddance..

Wow if I was just starting out the $125 PA Must Have Bundle plus my DAWs stock tools would be an amazing setup. Add if from the plus on this page because on it's actual details page it's $250.

Where do you use this stuff, strange noises? Movie effects? Avantgarde compositions?Shabdahbriah wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 2:19 pm F.i.n.a.l.l.y available for Windows.

Yes. I particularly like to feed this kind of stuff into my modular, via Mutable Instruments Ears, which generates gates and envelopes from it, with or without actually hearing the sounds themselves. Plus just loading/running snippets of the sounds into a wavetable or granular synth, and/or myriad effects, whether hardware or software.Harry_HH wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 3:50 pmWhere do you use this stuff, strange noises? IIRC, I could not really get gleetchlab to work well enough, last time I tried it. Maybe I'll give it another shot. Along with this creature from the id thing...

aaarrrggggg
After buying the UAD Ampex 102 a week or so ago at the $34ish from Uncle E and hoping that the Studer A800 would come up, the bundle of the Ampex plus Studer is now $99 which I guess with the voucher means it's $49, ie only a few dollars more for the two.

The timing for their sales, bundles, new bundles, and discontinued bundles is f**king weird and makes no sense.
