Hello,
i'm new to Patchwork!

1) How do i midi assign previous/next preset buttons? Are those not available for midi assignment?

2) The most awesome thing would be to be able to midi cc assign individual presets. That's a feature request i had for Komplete Kontrol for a long time. In Omnisphere for example, this is possible. You rightclick on any preset in its Browser and get the option for "midi program change / cc / note learn".

The reason why it's awesome to midi-map presets:
I build custom Touch OSC (touch control) interfaces, so i can create a visually awesome instrument selector on a touch-surface, to choose VSTs/Instruments from via touch. When chosen/clicked, the specific Patchwork preset would get loaded. That would be the vision, awesome for quick instrument selection for live performance :) Any chance for that to be a reality?

(1) You can simply assign them by forst clicking on the gear icon in the toolbar then on the small green arrow that appears below the next and previous preset arrows.
(2) is not available, but the way to do it is to organize your presets in banks and presets lists and then either use the next/prev preset commands for browsing or use MIDI Bank Select/Program Change messages to select the exact preset you are looking for, as suggested by the MIDI spec.

I managed to assign the next/prev preset commands, but even after reading the manual PDF, and activating all channels for Midi Program Change, i still don't understand what kind of Midi message i must send into patchwork, so it selects specific folders(presets).

For example a preset which sits at location "002/001". What does my controller has to put out, so that Patchwork selects that preset? Sorry that i'm too dumb to understand the manual

For preset 002 / 001 you simply need to send Bank Select #2 and Program Change #1. Once in the 002 folder, you do not need to resend bank select every time. Program Change is enough to select presets within the same folder.

I have been able to send Midi to change the presets in Ableton, but not in Bitwig. I am using the same settings and have confirmed midi going into the VST, but for some reason it will not work in Bitwig. Any ideas why?
Thanks!

Are you maybe using the VST3 version of our plug-in? I am not sure they have actually implemented Program Change for VST3 in Bitwig (VST3 does not really have true MIDI support, and program change is a bit of a different beast in VST3 compared to other plug-in formats). If you can use the VST2 version instead, it may work.
