Diva in VCV Rack 2.0?

Is there any possibility of getting diva modules in VCV Rack 2.0. I would easily pay full price for the Diva software again if it was in vcv format as modules...

Yes, the possibility exists.
Unfortunately the developer who was tasked with this - and who had an initial version of Diva filters going in Rack - has left the company in the middle of a global pandemic. We don't currently have the resources to pick up from where he left it, but we hope there'll be a new window to expand our resources once the current wave ends in a valley, or the current projects reach a their projected state.

That's very cool. I'd love to see some U-he and/or Cytomic filters in VCV Rack. OSCs, Envs, and more fun CV modules too! I hear the development is relatively easy, but that's probably the easy part. No rush, you've all got enough on your plates, but definitely happy to hear it!Urs wrote: Fri Jan 28, 2022 10:35 am Yes, the possibility exists.

100% you guys have no idea how happy this makes me. Like even as a possibility. I love your products so much.

That would be a dream come true.
I used to have an expanded Nord Modular G1 for many years and I still miss the things it could bring to the table for my music. When I sold it I thought I would have a VST in a not too distant future. But that never happend. Softube Modular is monophonic and part of the fun of the Nord was the polyphony. Cherry Audio Voltage is polyphonic but has glitches when the GUI is open even on my new and shiny i12.900k (maybe because they are VST3 only...). With the new Modules from Mark Barton it sounds good though.
Now with V2 VCV Rack is VST, has no problems and glitches for me even with heavy patching and graphics invoved. Now the only thing I'm missing are modules with the sound quality of U-He OSCs, filters and let's not forget the envelopes. With VCV and U-He modules one would have an absolute dream Modular setup.
I'd also pay the full price for Diva again, if I could have the modules for VCV.

It's an old zombie thread but yes, I would pay for Diva or even Bazille-like modules. Why not Repro and FX? My point is people usually salivate over anything U-he. Myself included.

Yeah, I really wish Cherry would focus more on stability and multicore operation with Voltage Modular, not to mention better antialiasing in the stock oscillators. It can be really good, but it can also sound audibly not that great to my ears when I think it easily could if they would rearchitect it with more sophisticated math on the back end and newer processors in mind.

We have half-finished but working VCV modules, but the developer who's on that is currently working double shifts on all the things we need to do to drop VST2 from our codebase (which we are obliged to get done within a few months).

May I ask what kind of modules or are you not allowed to spill the beans just yet?
Are we talking about the U-he Eurorack modules in VCV format? Or does that also include traditional analog filters/oscs/envs too? Or all of the above?

We have a Repro filter going, Wiretap, one or two modules lifted from modes of CVilization.
The Repro filter is proof of concept that we can - in theory - wrap any of our internal modules into a VCV module. As long as they don't require complex UIs.

Looking very forward to seeing those some day! Particularly the filter(s)?

a bazille oscillator in VCV would be a dream. Phase distortion is life.
