MAutoDynamicEq feature request. 10Hz.

It would be cool if we had an option to extend the spectrum range down to say 10 or even 5Hz (like in free Izotope EQ). In fact, it was Izotope EQ, that reveals various infa "bumps" (some of them were very substantial) in my various channels.
Here I'm talking, of course, about the analyzer window, not the range of the HP filter.

Sounds a little suspicious... I'd question that the infrasonic rumble really exists. If you low pass at 20Hz, do VU meters also register the same 5-10hz bumps as the analyzer? What process would be causing this? No recorded sound or synthesized audio signal be creating 5Hz information.
I seems just as likely to me that the analyzer is exhibiting increased error in the lows.

When I higpass, the bump disappears. I guess those are DC offsets. The problem is not that I cannot remove it (filter fixes the problem), but it would be great if I could spot those problems with the analyzer in the first place.

I'd love a better control on lower frequencies too, if possible would be a nice addition. If this would break compatibility, i'm fine with another M thing for that.
I remember we discussed about additional features for MADEQ in the past here on KVR, i think we ended up liking a kind of MADEQ2 or whatever name is better for them, with other funtionality added on top what MADEQ can do.
I remember about lower freq, aswell a band pass like proq3 (so one band only made with one point). But there was other requests too i cannot remember anymore

Melda has already said no, I asked. I got TDR Infrasonic which is ideal for anything below 20Hz. If you just need an analyzer, TDR Prism is free and displays down to... idk? 0Hz?

I second the Infrasonic recommendation. The TDR Special Filters bundle that contains Infrasonic occasionally comes up on sale. Nifty tools that do nifty things, some of which you might never need considering your use cases, and other's that might get you out of a pinch you didn't expect to be in.Hexspa wrote: Mon Aug 12, 2024 12:44 pm Melda has already said no, I asked.
