i think for being a first time daw user, tracktion is great, i got it for free and registered it, its great, im a daw virgin..
i'll definitely be on board for t2, here are some features id like to see.
1 wav to mp3 converter
that would be cool..
ive downloaded sir reverb n some impulse , really good sounding, also digitalfishphones fish fillets, nice compressor.. free is nice,

Another vote for Lame. Razorlame is a really good frontend for it I've found.
