I tried now a lot but somehow I don´t get it...

How can I navigate in the new browser (pop-up) with my keyboard...

Biggest problem I have constantly:
I open the browser, I type in the first letters of the plugin but mostly I am in the wrong category/collection because of Bitwig´s selection where I want to insert something... so I have to take my mouse and select the other category/collection I want...

Isn´t there a way to leave the search field and use any shortcuts to navigate through the collections/categories by keyboard??

This sounds a bit like you haven't yet customized your Pop-Up Browser.
For each context, like when using the Browser in an Audio Track, and then using the Browser in an Instrument Track, i recommend setting up the Browser category/view/order the way you like, and then rightclick an empty area of the Browser -> Browser Settings -> "Use current selections for this context". This will save your favorite Browser settings for the next time you use it in that context.

Concerning the question of 'leaving the search field and use shortcuts to navigate through collections" yes this is possible by default via the F-Keys (i'm on windows). But it's also possible to re-assign the collections to any key you like of course via Bitwigs Shortcut Settings.
It's also possible to reach many other functions, including focusing the category Filter, Clearing the Focused Filter, etc, via Keyboard. Just search for "Category" and "Filter" in Bitwigs Shortcuts. And if you want to go deep, you can study all available Shortcuts under the 'BROWSER' section.

I haven´t customized it very much, that´s true, but I am more struggling with sometimes being on an instrument track and first inserting a FX plugin but of course Bitwig thinks I want to insert an instrument...
Same for Note FX... sometimes I first want to insert a NoteFX on a blank instrument track... same problem...
Therefore I search for a way to quickly change the collections in such situations and always leaving the keyboard and grabbing the mouse isn´t very efficient...

I looked intensively into the shortcuts for the browsers but on my side there is just listed the numbers 1-0 and numberpad 1-0 for toggle collection... but they don´t work for that...

I struggle a bit with Bitwig´s names for stuff...
Thx to your hint with the F-keys I found them now: "Select quick source"...
I wouldn´t have assumed them by this name tbh...
But thx... you brought me on the right path! :tu:

Type the first few characters of the plugin name > hit tab when the switch to everything category suggestion is shown > down and enter

This is pretty sufficient for the few times I want to insert a plugin in a slightly odd place, but if you run into this scenario often you'd be better to customise the browser default contexts.

The tab key worked for me exactly one time... then it stopped working somehow...
The F-keys are actually perfect for me...
Nonetheless I would like to see a method to load defined plugins directly per shortcut as there are mostly the same suspects you load over and over again...
Would be nice to have them as a shortcut...

Here Taches shows how to do exactly what you're wishing for. Note: If you're on Windows, the program wouldn't be Maestro, but Autohotkey.
