ST2 Free no sound problem

Loaded up SampleTank 2 Free with an instrument in midi channel 1. My midi input on channel 1 but.....nothing. No sound. Any ideas?
SampleTank 1 Free works no probs.

Are you by chance on Win98? Sampletank 2 is not supported on Win98.

Yes, I am W98. So I won't kill myself trying to find a solution. Many thanks for the answer.
