Is it a known thing that if you have a number of tracks inside a folder and create a track template the template is created but Waveform can't see it?
Have tried all combinations of track selections.

Is track template a new thing or are you talking about making a preset of the tracks?
Looks like WF13 can't see any of my user-made folder presets; only the factory ones. I can see the preset files in the OS file system but not in Waveform's search.

I decided to actually submit an official support request at the Tracktion website. This is the type of bug that just looks silly.

I got a timely response, but it seems the helpdesk person doesn't even know what track presets are.
I wonder when they took the track presets out of the presets category in the Search and put them in their own. Was it always like that? Were the user-created track presets in the Tracks list before or have they always been missing?
I'd fire up an old version of Waveform to check but I find when I do that it erases all of my edit previews for some reason.
