Can't install MCenter (I will not install the latest v17 due to it being flagged by Virus Total)

I've got version 16_09 installation file, but MCenter isn't there.
I somehow got MCenter on February 17, 2024, but I don't have it installed. I would like to install it, but it's not in the 16_09 exe file.
I had put version 17 thru multiple virus scanners including Virus Total and it flagged the file, so, even if it's a false positive, I wont' install it that way.
Is there any way to access the older installation files in my account?

W32.AIDetectMalware is a generic threat detection moniker for files that distribute malware payloads as well as those that contain actual malware. However, the pattern or characteristics employed by the antivirus engine may be so prevalent that it recognizes practically all trustworthy files as malware when other antivirus engines produce a clean result.
This is quite typical for installation files like Setup.exe and Setup.msi. We’ve also seen it on legitimate utility software installations that came from the official source and executable file plugins for well-known products like music mixing and editing software.

Is this a troll post? I seriously can't tell anymore.
The link you posted show that it's fully cleared, just 1 generic detection, out of 75.
I mean jeez

Happy to: of 75 malware detection services gathered by VirusTotal, 74 of them give the v 17 installer a clean bill of health.gtimmons wrote: Tue Aug 20, 2024 2:19 pm Explain: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/d7c ... b7/summary
The remaining one flags it as a possible threat according to a criterion that commonly yields false positives.
In short, it's one company's malware detection process that's untrustworthy, not the MeldaProduction installer.
However, I understand the futility of trying to use logic to change an opinion that wasn't formed using logic in the first place....

Can't say anything about this particular installer. But Melda installers have been flagged regularly and widely in the past. I did not have this issue with any other installer. Make out of that whatever you want
The new system seems annoying enough to me to not further try these plugins.

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to share a quick update regarding the virus detection reported by one of the 75 antivirus solutions on VirusTotal in relation to our MPluginManager. As promised, we reached out to Bkav Pro, the company responsible for the false positive detection. They have confirmed that the issue has been resolved on their end. You can view the updated and flawless results for the latest MPluginManager v01.12 setup here:
https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/b74 ... 30b339554b
Please note that no changes were made to the source code. We simply provided Bkav with the necessary data, and they were able to resolve the issue within a few days.
I couldn't resist testing something in version 01.12: I made a change by adding a single jpg image to the installer without altering anything else. The result was that Bkav again falsely detected a virus, which shows that their detection process is far from perfect (I have my opinions on it). It seems they "hardcoded" the fix to a specific hash of the installer. This is just for your information on how these antivirus companies operate. Therefore, I anticipate that the upcoming version 01.13, which will be released soon, might also trigger a false positive with Bkav, but this will again be an error on their part.
We have, of course, shared this information with them, and we hope they will come up with a more professional fix or adjustment to their algorithm.
As promised, we take security seriously, and if there are any new developments on this issue, we will keep you informed.
