Download Manager Stuck on Download

Hello All!
I ran into an issue with the Tracktion Download Manager.
When I try to download the Collective Content, the download gets stuck at 100% and won't install.
After several tries and reboots, I found the downloaded ZIP file and installed the content manually.
However, the Download Manager is still showing the content as not being installed.
Latest version of Windows 11, 64gig memory, very fast internet connection.
Using Download Manager version 1.5.1 running with Administrator privileges.
Is this a problem for anyone else?
Thanks,
Jeffery Davis

I have seen things like this, yes. If I remember correctly then issues like this with the Downoad Manager have also been reported by others here on the forum. I recommend to send a bug report. Create an account on the Tracktion site and then you get access to the form by which you can send your bug report to Tracktion.

Fortunately, for you it only remains to be a cosmetic issue after you got it solved manually and the package content is accessible in Waveform now. However, the support team should know about this issue. Others might not find out how to fix this nasty imperfection.

Thanks Talby.
Yes, Collective seems to have the content installed and it seems to be working fine. It's just that an annoying message pops up whenever I run Waveform that prompts me to install the content.
I will file a bug report.

I think I found a solution. The Manager downloaded the Collective ZIP to my downloads directory. I extracted the files, which were a bunch of EXEs. I opened those and installed them and that seems to have fixed the issue. The Manager still doesn't know they've been installed, but Waveform lists them when I do a plugin scan.

This still happened today? I recently was in contact about this with the support and it should be fixed now, the Collective Content download should now become automatically installed after download. Before starting a fresh download of the Collective Content package, was there any older downloaded version of it still in your Downloads folder? Which OS (Win, Mac, Linux, version?) and Waveform (version?) are you using when trying to get downloaded and automatically installed the Collective Content but failing?

For me, there was no prior downloaded version. This happened the first time I was installing. :/

I'm having this issue today with Novum Content and with Waverazor Update. other updates worked. As with above, manual installs then succeed, without Install Managerr reflecting installs. Win11.

I am afraid we (other users) run out of ideas. You better send a bug report to the developers to make them aware that the Download Manager still doesn't satisfy expectations.

Did you try to run it normal as a user, not as administrator?Mountaincruz2 wrote: Tue Aug 20, 2024 10:38 pm Download Manager (...) running with Administrator privileges.
