We have just updated the betas available in the first post of this thread.
Fixed in rev. 16497:
* Fixed: VST3 synth plugins were showing up as additional mono version in Digital Performer
* Fixed: marking text in preset browser search field could make the text disappear (Windows only)
* a few more minor fixes
The Windows system UI scaling messing with drag & drop import on Windows turned out to be a Bitwig issue.
This is the first (and hopefully only) release candidate. If no major issues arise, this will be the release build.

A big thank you for the updates with the new features as such and for Viktor having revisited and improved some of the factory presets! This is not something that can be taken for granted.tasmaniandevil wrote: Mon Aug 12, 2024 12:29 pm Any new problems with the release candidate? Or are we good to go?
Everything is working fine here (W10). However, could you, please, have a look at the alignments of some labels in HIVE2?
- horizontal alignment of the label "Key Ctrl": IMHO, this is not perfectly centred with regard to the KC button.
My suggestion: CONTROL type='Label' name='Label 374936' bounds='1072.00 45.00
- horizontal alignment of the label "MPE": To me, this one is not perfectly centred with regard to the two MPE switches (I feel that the label should exactly be between the switches).
My suggestion: CONTROL type='Label' name='Label 373798' bounds='172.00 142.00
- vertical alignment of the labels "PB +" and "PB - ": I think that the position of each label should be minimally moved closer to the display for reasons of consistence (when compared to most of the other labels below or above displays in HIVE).
My suggestion:
CONTROL type='Label' name='Label 2957' bounds='1.00 -16.00 [PB +]
CONTROL type='Label' name='Label 2959' bounds='1.00 24.00 [PB -]
NB: These suggestions are based on what I see on W10 at a GUI size of 100%. I am not sure what this might look like on other systems and screens. The screenshot shows the new positions I am suggesting here, but, again, I am not sure. What do you think?

Another idea for ACE and Bazille:
As an option, maybe, as part of the download, you could additionally include the ACE_BG_x2.png and the Pane_GLOBAL.png without "KEY CONTROL" written on the left wood side. So, people could choose which version they want. I personally like the graphical implementation of KC in DIVA, HIVE, in the GP skin and in the Izmo skin. Or, offer the old panes on your website for download. Just an idea, not a problem or an issue at all.

After installing the RC of Bazille the issue I reported has disappeared. Everything seems to be working perfectly for all four instruments.tasmaniandevil wrote: Thu Aug 08, 2024 6:33 amThanks for the report. I'll file a ticket.skottish wrote: Wed Aug 07, 2024 8:49 pm With Bazille revision 16447 sometimes the effects don't show in the effects window and sometimes the effects graphics are squished up top (see the attachments).
But have to admit right away, this might be hard to fix.
It works ok on Ubuntu, and I don't think we have anyone using Arch Linux. We'll see.

Aaand we got one more release candidate. The download links for RC2, revision 16518, can be found in the first post of this thread.
It's mainly cosmetics, the positioning of the Key Control button has been improved in ACE, Bazille and Diva, plus the user guides have been updated.
We hope to officially release these updates next week, if all goes well (knock on fake wood panels).

Any chance you could resolve the issue with keyboads that need Shift for accessing the + key? (like my Nov 2023 MacBook Pro). Currently I can only increase by small steps as Shift is seen as fine-tune by the plugins.

There's a dedicated thread for that:joris.roling wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 9:42 am Any chance you could resolve the issue with keyboads that need Shift for accessing the + key? (like my Nov 2023 MacBook Pro). Currently I can only increase by small steps as Shift is seen as fine-tune by the plugins.

There is no quick solution or change here. It's an ongoing and long term project.

First I have to say that I am not sure I would ever use Key Control...
But secondly
.
how inconsistent the icon is currently in terms of location, and indeed the icon itself is a bit un u-he like for me.

I've installed the new RC2 versions and have tried the .clap for Bazille and Diva, and the same noisy distortion occurs when Multicore is enabled. Try sustaining one, then two, and then three notes; it's most noticeable upon the third key hold. This is not with all Presets, but too many.jwise wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2024 11:55 pm I'm getting distortion on Diva, including the previous version, when I enable Multicore. I'm using the Clap version on Windows 11 using Bitwig 5.2 (it was the same using the Bitwig 5.1 series).
I just installed the VST3 version, and it works as expected, no distortion.
