For some reason i am not able to load sm1 and sm2 presets as layers.
Sorry if it was debated here and i didn't follow or is inside the manual,i haven't read,but is there such option - sm1 preset as layer 1,then sm2 preset as layer 2,how to load them separately as layers,is it possible or not build as option yet ????

Yes it IS possible:

Right click on the preset name, and select the layer to load it.

What I love most about SM 3 is it hasn't crashed on me once...

that method works great for all the factory presets, but i keep getting an error message when i try to load my own presets on a new layer, it just doesn't work with my own presets

Just downloaded latest release (15436) and it keeps hanging while creating new presets. Was stable up to this point.

4. Browser -> right click on previously saved preset -> Load on New Layer

I haven't implemented loading SM3 presets into layers yet. Let me look into this.

Initially i suggest that each layer will load preset or will have separate browser ,so easy to build multi-layer structure for example - sm1 preset in layer1,sm2 preset in layer 2,sm3 preset in layer 3.
If this is possible in some future upgrade,this will make sm3 most powerful synth in the galaxy,not that it is not superb already,just multi-layer structure now could be made only from scratch ,can't use old stuff to mix and layer with sm3 sounds inside the synth.
Anyway cant complain of anything so far,just wish more multi-layer power.
Ready to pay extra and support the development of such function ,let say if there is Synthmaster 3 XT for advanced users or something

Those are the default preset search paths

No, I have 2 (Mac) computers I use for music in 2 different rooms in the house, and I tend to put sounds on a network drive, so I can access them from either machine. If they have to go onto the local machine, I'll have to keep a sync between the 2 machines, which is a bit fiddly.

I appreciate you probably have tons of work on, but hopefully I've explained my issue, and if you introduce a fix I will be grateful. Otherwise, I'll save my sounds into my Bitwig projects, and do without patch management.
