Hi,
Host is Bitwig (5.1.3), and the VST3 is acting as expected (MC and non-MC).

CLAP is like adding an FM-signal with Multicore when playing chords.

CPU isn't maxing out at all.

Any idea

Really nobody? I've got it in 15152, too.

Now you know how "popular" clap is :hihi:

Or Bitwig. Or Diva. Or others just don't have issues.

This was reported before - I believe in the CLAP release thread. I have the same issue.

So far we haven't been able to reproduce this problem. And we cannot fix it as long as it's not reproducible.
If it's an issue exclusive to Linux, then please let us know which Linux distribution you are using, and which CPU. And which sample rate and buffer size your projects run at.

Kernel: 6.8.0-40-generic x86_64 bits (has been a few Kernels it happens with): 64 Desktop: MATE 1.26.0 Distro: Linux Mint 21.1 Vera, AMD 5800X, Govenor Performance.
Example Preset HS Quartakus, but lot's of others, too.

We have been able to reproduce this by now. It seems to happen only on Windows and Linux, not on Mac. And only in Bitwig. We did not have time for a deep-dive into the issue yet, but we notified Bitwig about it, as it could as well be an issue in their CLAP integration (since there is no such issue in Reaper).

This issue has been fixed by Bitwig in the 5.2.5 update.
From their changelog:
CLAP: Fixed a thread pool issue (when a plug-in requests more than four parallel executions per block)
