Hi all,
The latest versions of ACE (V1.4.3), Bazille (V1.1.3), Diva (V1.4.8) and Hive (V2.1.2) are all MPE–enabled, they support CLAP and include experimental Key Control for mouseless operation. All four also include native Apple Silicon support for Pro Tools (AAX).
As always, these updates are free for existing licence holders. Simply download and install over the old version:

Enjoy,

The upside, for those of us who use a DAW which currently supports (or will support) the format, are these CLAP releases.wikter wrote: Thu Aug 29, 2024 1:57 am Last VST2 from U-He....

Already, several of my u-he plugins, in addition to all of FabFilter's product line are all available as CLAP. I have switched to the CLAP versions thereof, within all my new projects and will continue to do so, as and when additional plugins also become available in this format.
CLAP is now the future ... and the future is NOW!
Thank you for these great plugin updates, u-he!

I started switching to VST2-64 around 4 years ago, after I upgraded Studio One to V5. Already keeping VST2 versions of my Arturia, NI & Air collections (and U-He stuff also).
Some jbridged VST32 fx not even replaced by VST2-64 nor VST3 existing plug-ins.
Blame Smartelectronix.

Thank you for this release!!
One question: is it possible to enable Key Control with a keyboard shortcut? When you are using a custom skin, they are not yet updated to include the Key Control button, therefore it would be helpful to not require the button to be present. I understand it is still a beta feature but I really like it, especially that you can just enter a value with the keyboard.

When you enable key control and switch skin, it should still be enabled (and stay enabled)
The moving caret however is part of the UI widget that turns Key Control on or off. So while key control should still work with other skins, it won't have the exact same look and feel.
One can also enable/disable it when the plug-in isn't running by editing the com.u-he.[plug-in].Preferences.txt in the support/user section.

Still getting weird distortion on polyphonic patches in Diva with clap and vst3. Maybe only with multicore enabled? Haven't done extensive testing but not hitting cpu hard.

We have contacted Bitwig about this, but haven't heard back yet. We suspect it's a problem with Bitwig's multicore implementation, but are not sure.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Thu Sep 05, 2024 12:25 am Still getting weird distortion on polyphonic patches in Diva with clap and vst3. You get the exact same behaviour in the VST3 version? Only in Bitwig, or in other hosts as well?
And which presets?

Only tested in bitwig but tends to happen in polyphonic patches like, what was it called space diva or something. Will check later. I did get it in both clap and vst3. But I believe when I turned off multi core in diva it was much better, maybe gone.tasmaniandevil wrote: Thu Sep 05, 2024 5:12 amWe have contacted Bitwig about this, but haven't heard back yet. Edit: Did some more testing and it seems mostly only reproducible in the CLAP version with multicore on. I did get mild distortion with the VST3 a cople times, however it may have been system overload break up on my laptop. Not the really obvious digital distortion that happens with CLAP in multicore. It was deep space diva OLD Recipe that I tried, as well as some others.

Still have issues with Diva (1.4.
in Studio One 6.6.2. When I opened my project, Diva caused HUGE CPU spikes that made the project unplayable. I then restarted and it worked.

Did you ever report these issues before?
If you have a project that reliably exhibits this behaviour, could you please send it to our support, so we can try to reproduce it?

Thank you very much! Any chances to see the update for Zebra and Zebra HZ? Or we need to wait Zebra 3?

ColourCopy, MFM2 and Twangström are next.
Then we'll tackle Repro, Presswerk and Zebra Legacy.
