In the documentation, all that's stated about the Trigger button is this:
Trigger button servers for manual triggering. It can be associated to other modulators as well for example, so it enables you to trigger the envelope pretty much any way.
Not very informative. I wanted to see if there's a way to trigger an envelope with a mouse click (trigger via automation). Can that be done?
In any case, how to associate the envelope with other modulators is also something I'd like to understand, but that's not explained.
Any pointers?
Modulator Envelope Mode Trigger?

That's exactly what it is - you can trigger the envelopes manually, without any MIDI or audio. I never used it myself though, apparently I'm not that hardcore melda user

Sorry, but I still don't understand. By "trigger the envelopes manually" I assume you mean "click on something with the mouse". So what does one click on? That's what I couldn't figure out.MeldaProduction wrote: Wed Oct 02, 2024 10:57 am That's exactly what it is - you can trigger the envelopes manually, without any MIDI or audio. You can click the "Trigger" button to activate it. To get a result, a few conditions need to be met.
1) The plugin can't be sleeping. Play some audio through it or disable intelligent sleep on silent
2) The modulator needs to be assigned to a parameter
3) The modulator needs to be enabled.
Now, you should see a thin green line move when you click the trigger button.
If you want to automate it, (ctrl+) right click on the button and choose Assign to a multi-parameter and then automate that multi-parameter.
