I appreciate you probably have tons of work on, but hopefully I've explained my issue, and if you introduce a fix I will be grateful. Otherwise, I'll save my sounds into my Bitwig projects, and do without patch management.

In the next update, I am adding support for your request. The following text file will hold user preset file locations:

Win: c:/public documents/synthmaster3/synthmasterpresetsfolders.txt
Mac: /users/shared/synthmaster3/synthmasterpresetsfolders.txt

The file looks like this:

You can add up to 9 custom paths to this file:

UserPresetsFolder1 to UserPresetsFolder9

I tested this on a Mac. I've edited the file and added my path, then opened my DAW and opened Synthmaster 3. What happens is Synthmaster 3 overwrites the text file with a version that doesn't contain my change.

i didnt install synthmaster 3 yet but congratulations, i hope it will be a success. i need to check how i can upgrade, i got the full synthmaster 2 bundle.

Awesome! Had a deep dive tonight and loved it. FM sounding really nice, granular background pad things also nice Got into a bit of generative sine bell stuff too. I like that it feels familiar and everything seems to be pretty obviously located. I do seem to recall being unable to delete osc1 but maybe I missed something. And it can sound both clear and precise or wobbly and broken. Both are great!

A few things I've noticed and not sure anyones mentioned- the parameter feedback panel where one can view precise numerical values seems to sometimes simply not display any value at all, or takes 5s or so to do so. Same with the main level meter. That said, it was basically always indicating "clipping" or hitting the red. It was sort of distracting .

Also when mousing into things like waveform menus which have many subfolders of content, it's a bit annoying having to always click on the arrow to expand the next subfolder. It's different to basically everything else I've used where simply hovering the mouse over the arrow opens the folder. Although tbf that behaviour itself can be maddening in its own way, its just a habit that may take a while to break.

But excellent work with this and good luck with the launch.

I don't know what you did but somehow everything sounds better in SM3, even the old presets from SM2.
It's somehow richer and fatter and more gritty, more natural to my ears.
Please do not "fix" this
You have created my favourite synth of 2025!

Getting errors with a couple of presets. Version 15476.

3 - BT hollow roaster (mw+pb)

The following errors occured while loading preset
Missing waveform for Global LF01:Wave 2 :
Bluffmunkey\Blufftable 23.6

Similar error for 14 BT ghost ensembles

Other BT presets work. Blufftable numbered .wav files are in C:\Program Files\KV331 Audio\SynthMaster3\Resources\FactoryWaveforms\Bluffmunkey including Blufftable 23.wav

I can load Blufftable 23 into the wavetable oscillator and even set index 6 without error (not sure if that is what the error is referencing.

So far I've done my tests with the factory presets (4188 factory presets for SM1 + SM2 + SM3 so far). Out of those 4188, only 8 of them had loading errors (one of them included that wav file you mentioned)

I am going to look into those loading issues this week and hopefuly next week there's going to be an update. (you won't have to download the whole installer again, just have to check for updates inside the plugin, in that case you download the "update" installer which is much smaller)

This section is absolute genius,so easy achieving solid pro sound.

Is there a way to disable the automatic rollover-preview of presets in the browser?
I find that super irritating and would love to get rid of the preview completely - it's just not how I work and I seem to constantly trigger some random sound when moving around the interface with the mouse/pen...

If not, I'd like to make it a feature request. Or can I somehow remove the preview sounds?
