Wow, a lot of work. Some of these were pesky things that didn't bother me a whole lot, but I will be glad they're gone.

Also appreciate all the attention you've been giving the Insert plugin, which I use on every project.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

It's great to see the progress being made.
Even better to be kept in the loop about it.

Regarding retrospective recording there is a different behavior comparing to the stable version.
Although the option "Set All Incoming Note Velocities to Full" is enabled this option takes no effect, now.

Thank you for fixing the arranger!

Great job Tracktion Team, confirm it work very stable in Ubuntu 24.04.1, only that the drumkits that comes with the "Band Essentials Pack", like "Black Pearl and Red Zepelin" can't load because crash Waveform, also can't modify the "Essential Drums Pack" drumkits because happen the same and when load the "Volume Clip FX" a mono audio clip becomes with double channels, but everything else works well, including now the option "Open Wave In Default Editor" works.

First time ever I tried to switch the language of the app to some other language than English. I wanted to help somebody finding a command in the Spanish language version. Unfortunately I cannot switch to any other language. Is this my installation (on Linux) only or do others encounter the same?

I can confirm that it works very stable even on quite old DEBIAN 11 (oldstable, "bullseye") with old KDE.

EXCELLENT! "Open Wave In Default Editor" works on Linux now. THANKS A LOT!

I hit an issue after upgrading 13.1.2 to 13.1.13. It appears my MIDI stopped working.

After verifying 12.x still works normally, back to 13; same thing. I had a number of virtual instruments filtered by channel, and had to deselect/reselect all MIDI channels I wanted for each virtual, and it seems back to normal. Never hit this one before, but the structure of virtual MIDI devices may have changed "subtly" in this release...

... Oooohhh also realized by accident, that MIDI devices can now be turned on/used without having to restart Waveform !
(not sure if it works in all scenarios, but this had previously been a pain point)

Correction, with the Ubuntu 24.04.1 recent update, the external wave editor option is not working anymore, also all the "Band Essential" Pack content make Waveform crash if try to load any of the presets.

Can you see in the apt log which packages have been updated?

I found what the problem is, the "Pipewire-Jack" Plugin that the code is not compatible with Waveform 13 audio engine code, to solve this, in "Audio Device Type" select "Alsa" and not "jack", then in "Output/Input" select Jack or Pipewire and many of the bugs like stock plugins crash, stock libraries crash and visual errors will be fixed

Post

for the "When load the "Volume Clip FX" a mono audio clip becomes with double channels" use the Limiter plugin as "Clip FX" and you'll have a mono channel with Clip Gain automation like Protools and Studio One
