Hi,
I see Diva 1.4.7 has an uninstaller under System/Apps. To avoid having 1.4.7 and 1.4.8 in the uninstall list if I "just" install 1.4.8 over 1.4.7, I want to uninstall 1.4.7 first. But will that also delete all skins I bought, etc., so will I have to copy all those files again ?
Thanks
Diva uninstall 1.4.7 question before installing 1.4.8

The uninstaller will only uninstall things the installer installed (what a sentence).
All your own presets, additional third-party soundsets, GUI themes and plugin setting files won't be uninstalled.
The installer will also run the uninstaller prior to the actual update installation.

I prefer to swap the file names of "FavIcon-1.png" and "FavIcon-2.png" for better visibility of my favourites within u-he plugins (switching the filenames of the dark grey .png for the light orange one).tasmaniandevil wrote: Tue Sep 03, 2024 9:03 am The uninstaller will only uninstall things the installer installed (what a sentence).

Unfortunately, the new uninstaller/installer doesn't seem to recognize that those had been manually changed and so automatically changed them back to the default colours (by installing over the top).
I know it doesn't take that long to rename the files to change them back. But it's a bit annoying to have to do this for all u-he plugins. Will this happen again with the next future updates? Or, now that the current installation process remembers these previously being installed, will it leave alone any manual user-renaming of the favicon graphic files, etc?

The installer will always update the factory skins.
If you want to make changes to those skins, it's best to create a new theme by copying the factory skin and then making the adjustments you want to the copy.
If you search through the forum, there are probably a few threads about theme creation.
