Recording and automation question

Hi all --

I am new to Mu Lab, and this forum. absolutely loving it so far. Amazing piece of software. I have two newbie questions hopefully you can help with. . I am using Mu Lab as a vst in a DAW and
1) wondering if I can sync midi recording start with the transport in the host daw? So when i hit play in my host daw's transport mulab starts recording. Right now it starts recording soon as I hit record in mulab.
2) is there an easy way to send control parameters in a vst to automation lanes in a daw when I have a vst loaded in mulab?

For 1 - I don't think you can record in hosted MuLab -- recording is what the Host DAW is there for. If you want MuLab's recording, use it as a host DAW.
For 2 - I don't think you can control the host DAW from MuLab. If you want to control VST automation, use MuLab as a host DAW, or use the host DAW to automate the MuLab-hosted VST.

Yes you can record in MuLab Plugin!
To sync recording with the host DAW, right-click the composer sync button -> options -> sync record start.
