Sounds good, alternatively have a slightly larger gap between the knob and outer rings. I think it's the 'partially touching on one side and a gap on the other' that makes the misalignment seem the most obvious - if it's either overlapped all the way round or has a gap all the way round this would be slightly maskedSteffenPL wrote: Thu Sep 02, 2021 7:42 am Maybe it would be possible to make the black rings around the knob a bit thicker so that the knobs overlap with the rings and hide the white background. (Maybe that's why it is less obvious in the u-he plugins.)

And thanks Ploki for the pixelation explanation, that makes sense

J1000 wrote: Tue Apr 20, 2021 12:24 pm Hey folks,
Here's my customization of Tokyo Ghost, more of an evolution than a radical change. It's fully functional, not just a photoshop job. I would gladly share it with Plugmon if he wants to implement some of my solutions. (or share it with paid users if he approves that)
What's new:
- Relocated some controls, for more overall order and symmetry.
- Changed "digital" font for the same one used on whole GUI.
- Changed that retina-burning orange to cool pink.
- Effects section went into lower-right corner. It's more logical and makes connections from sequencer and mapping generators shorter.
- Bigger mapping generator displays.
- Removed small peak meter in mixer section, since there's already a big oscilloscope.
- Pixel-precise re-aligning of controls and labels. (OCD, can't help it)
- Text reduction where possible for clearer space between elements. Also, some labels were changed.
- Warmer shade of white for backround, easier on the eyes. Although I usually prefer darker GUIs, I like Tokyo Ghost because of it's lightness, it's vibrant to work with.
- New wood side panels. (premium walnut, not a plastic veneer)
Personally, I don't find use for ghost mode, it removes a lot of elements that leave space strangely empty, it's much easier for me just to set cables to "ghosted" when I want them out of the way.
As a Tokyo Ghost owner, is there any chance to get your modified version? I love the changes you did to the skin!

yeah, maybe just the panel and the lines of code? or can we show you here with @Plugmon's blessing that we have indeed paid for it?

There are so many code lines that are changed that it is impossible for me to filter them out and share with you. Ask for Plugmon's blessing and I'll send you the whole package (that's the only way it'll work properly).Garzita wrote: Fri Sep 17, 2021 5:10 am yeah, maybe just the panel and the lines of code? or can we show you here with @Plugmon's blessing that we have indeed paid for it?

New ghost mode that hides only cables, new layout of multiplexes and envelopes, new font on whole GUI, third accent color for some elements (white), prettier wire color palette, bigger oscilloscope, knobs without gaps, a lot of small cosmetic improvements, but sadly nobody can use this except me. *sigh*

Current Tokyo Ghost is barely compatible with 1.1.3. I mean, it won't crash. But of-course there's no MPE nor Key Control.Mumdad wrote: Thu Sep 05, 2024 9:03 am Could anyone please tell me if Tokyo Ghost is working well with 1.1.3? Just setting up a new system and wondering if it's worth setting up now or waiting for an update.
Anyway I'm updating the skin now and I can publish the latest version like really in this weekend

The update has just been done!! In addition to compatibility with MPE and Key Control, I’ve revamped elements like knobs and buttons for the first time in six years, giving the design a more modern look. Also, as the movable effect rack in the latest Bazille is highly inspiring, I made a whole new stompbox-style design for the effects section.

Some may prefer the previous style, but I personally believe it has become a more enjoyable and beautiful design!

I know you don't believe in sales beyond intro sales.. But with the updating of your skins (I already have Mona), you may want to consider having sales... The colour on Tokyo Ghost may entice me to purchase it now.. (yeah I like dark skins and colours)

It had completely slipped my mind, but now that I’ve moved the resources to the latest environment and reorganized them, creating color variations has become much easier! While it won’t happen immediately, offering a dark version has now become a realistic possibility.zvenx wrote: Tue Sep 10, 2024 1:25 pm I know you don't believe in sales beyond intro sales.. Excellent, thanks for the update.
Love this skin, it genuinely makes the synth so much more useable and appealing to me. If a darker theme might come, maybe something in Casio CZ colours might be fitting?
