Coming up today with our v3.0.2 update. no more downloading 1.4 GB setup. It will be much much smaller. But to be able to download the update setup, you will need to check for updates inside the plugin window:tatanka wrote: Mon Sep 09, 2024 8:15 am Any chance for automated update process (check for, download, install) in the (near) future ?
Looking for serial, download > 1,4 GB manually, installing manually......
As nice as it is that the bug fixes and improvements are coming but not much time left for working with it this way......

I know. If your revision is greater or equal to 15456, you will get the "update" setup, otherwise "full" setup. (15456 is our final setup which contained all of our factory samples)tatanka wrote: Mon Sep 09, 2024 8:30 am Great, this is really appreciated, was really kind of frustrating.

Just move over everything into the corresponding SM3 folders with the same folder structure (presets to presets, samples to samples, etc.) It seems okay on my end, problem solved.fisherKing wrote: Sun Sep 08, 2024 1:10 pmScreenshot 2024-09-08 at 9.06.50 AM.pngTouch The Universe wrote: Sat Sep 07, 2024 9:04 pmGood question, why are there 2 Serene Worlds?fisherKing wrote: Sat Sep 07, 2024 4:51 pm placed everything in the synthmaster (2) folder; why am i seeing this (in SM3)? and how do i fix it? thx
Can you also show a pic of what it looks like inside the synthmaster folder?
I'll look into the soon I get home
yikes, this is happening as well; do i need to move files to a different location? thx

Not possible at the moment, technical limitation. I hope I can fix this limitation in the future.Gam456 wrote: Mon Sep 09, 2024 9:20 am Hi
How can we change a target in the modulation matrix ? It doesn’t seem to work.
Create a new modulation matrix entry instead.

That's great news. Will that also remove the need to have SM2 installed when using SM3?kv331 wrote: Mon Sep 09, 2024 8:25 am Coming up today with our v3.0.2 update. no more downloading 1.4 GB setup. Not everyone who buys SM3 will have used SM2 already and it can be really confusing when things aren't working properly out of the box with only SM3.

EDIT: I am working on this. So that users can download SynthMaster 2 factory presets as an "expansion".Held wrote: Mon Sep 09, 2024 11:09 am Will that also remove the need to have SM2 installed when using SM3?

Ideally, there's a pop-up at the start when opening SM3 for the first time prompting the user to download it.
The less a new user has to know before getting started, the better

I can't find one so I assume there isn't, but is there a manual for SM3 floating around?
Also, with the FM modes, I think I saw on some older screenshots there were operator (Op1, Op2, Op3...) elements on the routing panel for FM synthesis. But I can't find a way to create these in the release version. Have those been replaced by the Mod elements and the FM/PM input selector on the full oscillators?

There is no written manual yet, only video tutorials.Gamma-UT wrote: Mon Sep 09, 2024 12:18 pm I can't find one so I assume there isn't, but is there a manual for SM3 floating around?
Please check out factory presets whose names start with DX7Gamma-UT wrote: Mon Sep 09, 2024 12:18 pm Also, with the FM modes, I think I saw on some older screenshots there were operator (Op1, Op2, Op3...) elements on the routing panel for FM synthesis. I created all of those algorithm presets with oscillators and modulators. and then I renamed them as Op 1-6 (yes you can rename modules. double click on the module name on the tab)

Got it. That's neat, renaming could be really handy for remembering what I've done in patches. Thanks.kv331 wrote: Mon Sep 09, 2024 12:31 pm Please check out factory presets whose names start with DX7

This is great news! I try to keep things pretty minimal--I only use a handful of tools, and replace them as I find better tools. I'm of the philosophy that one is better knowing their tools inside and out, and having the right tool for the job, rather than having dozens and dozens of tools and not knowing them very well. I appreciate that you are doing this!! It will help me clear up the clutter.kv331 wrote: Mon Sep 09, 2024 11:23 amEDIT: I am working on this.
