FR: rulers in automation pane

when i'm automating things i often find that there are a vew key values that i need to go back to several times, it'd be handy if i could drag down some sort of horizontal ruler (photoshop style) in the automation pane that automation points would snap to while theyre being dragged, to make it easy to return to a few 'key values'.

That and a snapshot (hit the record automation button when playback is stopped, and changes are written to the current timeline) function and I'd be set.
