Not exactly on topic but I wish Lennar Digital would just make something else. Riding on the success of Sylenth sounds great and all but if Lennard and the team made a new synth (sylenth2 probably) or a new effect (any at all) I would definitely check it out to see what they could come up with. They made such an amazing synth yet won’t make a new synth or effect in so long? Just odd.

Why do we need a sylenth 2?
If more features were added to the current sylenth, wouldn't that be a better idea? If some extra synthesis types were added, preset browser enhanced, maybe some more fx even, these things would then allow even more diversity of sound creation.

Sylenth2 is great idea,if go to right direction.
4 layers with 4 osc and 4 filters each in different modes.
If a synth have multi layer structure should have at least 4,5 preferable 8 layers.
No need of wavetables, just current synth expanded with more of same (super) powers.
Doable.
I think :):):)
Will remain A Christmas Wish obviously :)

I have a soft spot for Sylenth1 and always will.

It was the first plugin I ever bought and the one I took my first steps in learning synthesis.

Sure there are tons of new synths out now with a deeper feature set but this thing is home for me.

Simple, no BS, effective and beautiful sounds.

I'd be happy with Sylenth1 being the one and only thing that LennarDigital ever make. I'd rather Sylenth1 be kept up to date to support whatever OS updates come along in the future and general QoL updates than have another synth in my plugin folder.

If there was one thing I would like, it's access to the FX section as a separate plugin (like SerumFX), so that I can have some more control when it comes to mixing and of course, use it on anything and anywhere!

Lennard is well known for posting detailed roadmaps on the future of Sylenth.

I'd love to see a plugin version of the fx section too.
I would also like to see the fx section expanded upon.

When was the last one?
Seems to me this is one of those plugins that built such a reputation in its early days, that it is a long time dying, clinging on to life in the hope of squeezing every penny it can from it. Then, when it is dead, you won't even know it, due to the slowness of it, until so much time has passed the realisation comes, it's over.

This is a great synth. But it's been clear to me for many years that there are no plans for expansion, only fixes and updates to keep it current. There is no road map. It's too old for that.

I only bought this a few years ago. I knew it was unlikely to ever have any big upgrades, but I love it's simplicity, quality, resource friendliness number of presets available, skinnable, etc, great synth. I bought it knowing it had little future, just for those reasons above.

But imagine this was released today, not back in 2000's when this sort of thing was a rarity. It would have a massive struggle to be heard due to the likes of serum, u-he, tone2, etc. So many great and better synths out there that are still being heavily developed far outweigh sylenth.

It was a joke. Clearly.

Love Sylenth. Obviously if Lennard was releasing something today he’d do it differently to what he did 20 years ago.

Thanks for maintaining Sylenth, Lennard :)

No joke. Unfortunately.

Sylenth1 is perfect in current shape - classic synth, amazing sound, original structure :) Sylenth2 probably will be something different if see it... ever :)

IMO Sylenth1 is unique musical tool, not other like it.
So maybe entire idea of upgrade is pointless...
Probably better new synth, using Sylenth1 experience to implement it in something bigger.
