Still having issues with sample import when loading SFZ (v3.02 r15512). I tried another couple of the Zampler banks and now the progress bar shows a partial load (~20%) of the samples but then nothing happens after that. No hard crash this time and I'm able to abort loading by closing and re-opening the plugin GUI. After doing that, it's evident that no samples at all have been loaded. An entry is still made in SynthMasterSamplesFolders.txt that needs manual removal before the plugin will load again after a full closure.

Problem loading a preset ... I hope this has not been asked before.
I have downloaded and installed SM3 a few minutes ago. After bringing the UI up for the first time it started to download the presets in the background and then finished by saying 71 of 74 packages have been installed which gave me the first head scratching moment... then I went through a few presets - amazing stuff in there, definitely - and came across "11 - BA Equio".
A error box pops up: "Missing wavetable for OSC 1:Waveform: User\OB_V".

Can sbdy please check and confirm? How can I repair my broken preset? And how can I get it to 74 of 74 packages?

I am going to look into the missing waveform/sample issues. Regarding downloading all of the expansions, you actually downloaded and installed all expansions. The missing ones were nks files for some of the expansions. I am going to exclude nks from the total count.

I have no issues with Cubase 13 (just tested).

Try deleting

Win: <public documents>/synthmaster3 folder
Mac: /Users/Shared/SynthMaster 3

and try again.

That's weird, I have no problem loading SM3 3.02 VST2 in Cubase 13 (Windows 10), however, I've noticed that everytime I update SM3 to a newer version The DAW needs some time to scan the plugin. I usually open Reaper first - the popup window informs me that SM3 scan takes longer than expected. Once the scan is complete, I close Reaper and open another DAW - the 2nd scan takes very little time. Is it possible that in your case Cubase "blacklisted" SM3 during the initial scan?

That's true, because when the version changes, I reset the database files for waveforms and samples. I can disable that though because the database files' format wont change anymore.

SM3 hangs Cubase 12 under Windows 10 for me.Tried the latest couple of releases and they all are doing the same thing. I've reverted back to the beta because that works but not the official release for some reason.

I'm working with the Granular OSC today and stumbled about something odd:
I select the sample: Samples -> Factory -> Particular -> Sound -> Mokaflor.aif.
This works fine, but when I now use the arrows in the granular oscillator sample view, I do not step through the samples in that same folder as I would have expected but get kicked to another folder and see "HiHat Open.OH" when going backwards and "Kick.OH" when going forward.
It doesn't seem to matter in what folder I start, I always land in the folder with those two sounds...
That used to work at one point...

I'm on windows 11 home, Bitwig Studio 4.4.10 and using the VST3 and VST2 with the same problems.

Edit: More oddness: The "random" button in the oscillator always gives me the same sample: "BT mare mediteraneo pad".
And via drag and drop I can only drop 2 or 3 samples in a row, then it no longer works.
Hm. Now the random button works again after the drag and droping...
But something is off - I get a bit of a random behaviour, depending on what I did last, but drag and drop definitely is borked when trying to drag several files in for testing.

Sane here with cubase 13 in win 11.

Found a solution for me:
1. Deleted and reinstalled SM3 as described here: viewtopic.php?p=8944965&hilit=does+load ... #p8944965

But don't run your DAW (Cubase) like in point 5!

Then I started synthmaster3.exe - the stand alone application and let it do its things like dling libraries etc. Those dialogs were hidden by cubase. So it seems stuck. I guess running the stand alone application first was the important part. Interestingly some NI programs have similar issues with cubase.

When I create a FX preset and apply it later on to a patch, the FX module is getting disconnected in the routing graph.
This one is actually older, but somehow fell through the net...

Fixed in version 3.0.3. update coming hopefuly in a couple of days.
