Interesting, thanks for mentioning. It may be a work in progress, but good to see various filtering options for finding deals quicker. For example, "Price Range" filter would be very useful. Not that I buy a lot via PB though. :)

I just noticed this and much prefer the old list. It wasn't hard to go through at all, this gets all convoluted for me while searching through it.

No deal end date? That's terrible. [Edit: they do still let you order them by deal end date, but don't say what the end date actually is.]

It usually is the first site I check for new deals. Yes, they have added some handy filters, but overall the Deals page has become less useful to me.

Yes, that gives me the feeling I have to decide immediately to prevent me from being too late for a deal. I don't like that at all.

I still think PB is in need of a general UI refresh. The new "Deals" page does feel more modern, but now there are inconsistencies with older icons, for example. "My account" icon is dated in particular and doesn't align with the more recent minimalist outlined icons of the Deals page. The Windows icon is not even in use anymore, it's two generations behind.

A lot of images on the website are lowres pixelated and don't look good on 2K resolution screens and up. It might be more practical in terms of saving storage, but updating a couple of icons and some previews wouldn't use that much space anyway. It would drastically improve the readability of the promo images though (simply because they would look clearer).

Also the fact that the promo image to the right of the carousel on the main page is split into three parts feels a bit unprofessional.

But that's just nitpicking, I don't think most people care about these details anyway. As a whole, all of that adds up to the way PB feels overall, so it is important to address these, even seemingly small, issues.

Not that anyone asked, but in the music software business a lot of websites and the products themselves have under-average UIs by industry standards. I hope more companies start caring about the design and packaging of their products. Softube sells, UVI sells, Fabfilter sells, UAD sells. Design and packaging matter a lot.

Hmm, interestingly enough, the four companies mentioned in that last post are companies I won't even waste time looking at...

I can't believe he wasted your time by posting something so undirected at you. Super inconsiderate.

I bet they all had a celebratory drink or two when they read that.
Mac mini m4 pro, Reaper, too many plugins, Modal Argon8, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.

I mean these companies are doing well financially from what it seems. I have read a lot that people don't buy Melda plugins for example simply because they don't like the UI or it's too convoluted for them. That's a lot of potential customers who are turned off by design.

Investing in a good UI is worth it, both from my personal experience and from the financial perspective.

But I'll stop. This wasn't the place for this anyway, I apologise on my end. Tools are tools - if they work well, that's what mostly matters. I'll go use my Delay Lama...
