Why waste time making music when it doesn't matter? mixing doesn't matter, production too. but song matters, so why not just make song since it matters more? If it's truly a song it will be liked, but if it is mixing or production, it just doesn't matter, even music doesn't matter. What do you think?

i think i know what you wanna say. but making music includes writing songs and giving them a certain form. the rest of course really doesnt matter. people are so vicitmized by capitalism that they think that sales matter. poor souls. being tortured into the ruling conditions, as marx wrote.
it doesnt matter if you sell one time or a million times and any digit inbetween. you write songs or whatever you deem to be one and thats it, doesnt even matter if you need 2mins or 2 decades. once again the poor tortured souls are convinced that it matters, cos TIME IS MONNEEE

Yep mixing and production doesn’t matter if the song and the melody aren’t hitting… no amount of tweaking will help… Ive wasted alot of time doing this on songs that weren't worth it

so many genres are more reliant on sound design that traditional composition, timbre becomes the center of the music specially in electronic music. Before, in rock you had melody, harmony and lyrics and timbre below them.
