The program starts alright, but I noticed a problem with the Signal Analyzer window acting strange:

Hmm... I thought I'd fixed that.Featherless biped wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2024 12:11 pm The program starts alright, but I noticed a problem with the Signal Analyzer window acting strange:

I haven't put too much effort into window repainting as I'm experimenting with GPU accelerated graphics and will most probably integrate the Midi Monitor, Virtual Keyboard and Signal Analyzer windows directly on the plugin GUI.

The baseline test is my ancient Asus K55a laptop. Intel 3610QM with integrated HD4000 graphics.
About as simple as you can get

I don't understand how I can create n-voice polyphony by using n separate oscillators. Could you post a working example so that I can see how it works?

Yes the description could be better. I still need to work on the help file.Featherless biped wrote: Sun Sep 22, 2024 6:15 pm I don't understand how I can create n-voice polyphony by using n separate oscillators. Could you post a working example so that I can see how it works?
Here is the most simple schematic for four voice poly using separate oscillators. The Poly Voice Controller redistributes Midi data to the Poly Voice Pitch and Poly Voice Level modules so each oscillator is played in turn, with a bit of voice steeling when all voices are in use.
Here the envelope controls, polarity and unison are left out for clarity.
This method of polyphony was written a while ago and really needs an overhaul to make things simpler but it's still good for multi-timbral setups.
The project (called 4 Voice Polyphony Example) is included in the updated SynthCraft v0.745 which adds some more improvements, especially to the window redrawing routines.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much, your program (and build plugins) works very well even on my old computer (C2D E-8400, X1300 GPU, Win7).
No problems with graphics or sound so far.
