Now listening to "Close Your Eyes": I agree this song is up-tempo (and upbeat). The fast sequencer/arp synth (quite nice) towards the end makes it even more upbeat. Very good melodies per usual! The singing is quite good! Nice recording!

10th track from my upcoming CD "Modern Times"
I really loved doing this one. The outro lead guitar the way it kicks in is just super cool.

wagtunes,
Now listening to "Well I'll Be Damned": very good melodies per usual! I could picture this as a TV theme song (even if TV theme songs are usually much shorter). Vocals are good! The lead guitar parts do sound very good; as does the rest of the instrumental portion. Nice song and recording!

I don't mean to piss you off. But I think it would be good for you to come back to the OSC sometime. You seem to have left on bad terms. Perhaps things weren't as nice back then. It's been a very positive experience for me, even though I've never placed very high. Seems a pretty positive place nowadays and having a negative feeling about it isn't good. I almost quit after a few times and I'm glad I didn't. Anyway, I'll not go on about it. All the best to you.

Thanks for the invite. All that's behind me now. Truth is, I just can't be bothered fighting with synths that don't play well with my PC. Plus all the restrictions just don't make it fun. I'd rather spend the time writing and recording my songs.empphryio wrote: Sat Aug 31, 2024 1:05 am I don't mean to piss you off. But I think it would be good for you to come back to the OSC sometime. If I could get Adele to sing my songs I'd be doing a whole lot better than I am now.Artie Fichelle wrote: Sat Aug 31, 2024 3:38 am If Adele was the singer, it would be different, right?

wagtunes,
Now listening to "Too Many Tears": your vocals are hitting the high notes especially well; and the rest of you vocals sound good too. Instrumentally, sounds a bit like the Beatles in certain regards (a good thing). Nice audio quality. Very nice melodies as usual. Very nice song and recording!

I enjoyed the track very much.
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com
