@kv331

The scale 'fill octave' feature is not present in SM v3.03. Will this feature ever be introduced into SM3?
I found it really useful in SM2.

Thanks.

Interesting about the SFZ. Tangential question, then... Does Synthmaster have the capability of using SFZ files as an FM operator? (btw, I know absolutely nothing about Synthmaster's capabilities, other than it generally does multiple synthesis types, so I have no idea what it is capable of doing).

As modulator: yes
As carrier: not yet

I click the gear icon next to an existing layer to add a new one. I'm using the version that was released today.

Well, I have to be. Because it's a very tough market, believe me :) We are literally trying to survive! Spent so much money on presets, advertising (MusicRadar, Production Expert, SonicState, Facebook/Instagram) and yet I don't see any results yet to justify that much expenditure. I hope that it's because the holiday season hasn't started yet...
You should feature a preset previewer for SynthMaster 3 prominently on your website. The sound is a main selling point for the synth and probably much more convincing than a list of features.

Maybe also make some videos like Nexus has. They have a video for each preset pack which shows which presets where used at which part during the demo track. You could make videos like that for some of your demo tracks and feature them on the website.

Or maybe make video demo tracks featuring each oscillator type showcasing the different sounds you can get with them. That way, you can showcase the variety of sounds SM3 can produce while also giving the potential customer something to listen to.

A synth is all about sound, and that's difficult to convey with a list of features and images. Having a sound cloud window all the way at the bottom doesn't seem right. Few people are going to scroll that far.

Personally, I don't think adding a few more features like an additive engine is going to have a major impact on sales. I would keep that for a larger update in a few months which might get you featured on some YouTube channels again.

Until then, I'd focus on usability and improve the first impressions people get when they try the demo. Both from a UI/UX perspective and from a tutorial perspective. Maybe get some YouTuber to make a series of short tutorials for beginners making a variety of presets.

Anyway, since this was all unsolicited advice, feel free to ignore. I also might be wrong, but what you're doing so far doesn't seem to be working very well, so maybe try something new :)

I really like the sound of SynthMaster, so please keep developing it for a long time!

Hi Bulent,

I'm not sure if this is possible, but it would be nice to be able to mouse-wheel scroll up and down through the list of mod matrix entries, e.g. to see others below the bottom one on the screen. I know there are filters, but would still like something like that.

I also noticed after a drag-and-drop of a sample on to an Init preset osc, then I change low and high key to both be C4, then the waveform display in the osc disapppears or is just basically a flat-line look to it. It works ok since I can hear it when I play that key, but I just wondered why it doesn't show the waveform there after I set it that way.

Yes, like that. Although they look a bit more boring than the ones from Nexus.

But why haven't I've seen them before? Am I blind or are they well hidden?

Edit: I guess I'm not subscribed to your YouTube channel yet. I've changed that.
But I think it would be good to have some of them embedded on your website as well.

The scrollbar for the mod matrix is already built-in:

:dog: I totally forgot that was there, maybe because it’s dark and my eyes aren’t what they used to be.

Thanks!

It's normally darker when mouse is outside the mod matrix view. When it's inside, it's lighter.

Loading SM3 presets into layers is not implemented yet. But you can load SM1/SM2 presets into layers, that's possible.
