Hello,

Getting started with MSoundFactory LE version.
Downloaded and activated the factory content.

If I click the random icon in the Global Presets toolbar at the center top of the interface, sometimes a preset will be identified ('Sunrise' for example. Sounds very nice!!)

and I play my keyboard and I hear the sound and the meters show the audio signal but---I have no interface for that preset--no Synth/FX/Globals row-no knobs, etc. The screen says 'No Instrument Loaded' but 'Sunrise' is absolutely loaded into Slot A.

What am I doing wrong?

I tried removing and reinstantiating the plugin but no success.

Thank you

You are not doing anything wrong. This is because of how Melda organizes their preset system. An "Instrument" has to be specifically saved as such by its creator, otherwise it's simply a generic preset. Instruments have the advantage of being able to have at least a rudimentary GUI with editable parameters and their own sets of sub-presets within the Instrument. Non-Instrument presets are editable through Melda's own parameter editing system...which some find rather daunting...and can't have their own "presets."

You need to select an instrument from the panel to the left. If there is no instrument window to the left, click on the "Devices" button.

The presets at the top are something else (mostly ported from MPowerSynth). They aren't really useful if you have the LE version.
