I can't use quick help or it crashes instantly. MacM2Pro Sonoma. The export midi/wav functions very sporadically work. Under "Menu" all the functions won't bring up a browser except the midi filters. I did the normal re-installs. Nothing changed. The problem is 100% the code. It is unusable for Logic in this state. All other DAW's work fine. I contacted Nelda support and sent videos of these major problems but I was just told to reinstall. Since support offered no interest I'm here in the forum hoping the tech guys get this message somehow. I'll even get on zoom with support to screen share to help with this if that is what it takes. All issues are repeatable and consistent. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Oh well, Logic again. I'll get someone check it out, again... The thing is, turns out Apple doesn't care about it much and they don't even develop it. It's some 3rd party to which we cannot even get a contact
... that makes things rather awkvard...

What does the DAW manufacturer's support say?Mockrates1776 wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 1:14 am It is unusable for Logic in this state. All other DAW's work fine. I contacted Nelda support....
It's Apple's own, isn't it? I'd let them know that it doesn't "just work." Although knowing them, they'll probably tell that they don't guarantee Logic will work with 3rd-party plug-ins.

I just spoke with my colleague from support, and he confirmed that he has always responded to your messages, but he did not receive the video. Rest assured, we are thoroughly investigating the issue.
We have tested it on the M1 Pro, macOS Sonoma, and macOS Sequoia, and the problem with opening dialogs under the MDrummer menu is consistently reproducible. The issue does not occur in non-Apple DAWs and also works in Logic Pro if you switch it to Rosetta mode, which can be used as a temporary workaround.
Based on our findings, the issue seems to occur when opening modal dialogs (modal loops), leading me to believe with 99% certainty that the bug is within macOS. This assumption comes from a similar issue we reported to Apple with macOS Ventura, which, unfortunately, was never fully resolved there — you had to upgrade to Sonoma for the fix...
I will generate logs and report this again to Apple as a TSI (Technical Support Incident). Please note that TSI is a paid service (yes, Apple requires payment for comprehensive support), and from my past experience, Apple is slow to respond to both feedback and TSIs, sometimes taking months or longer. However, this is the best course of action at the moment to resolve the issue.

As Vojtech mentioned, the software is not developed by Apple, but by another company. If I search through my emails, I can find the name of the company, but it ultimately didn't matter — I had to submit Feedback and a TSI to receive full support in the end.Starship Krupa wrote: Wed Oct 02, 2024 1:31 pmWhat does the DAW manufacturer's support say?Mockrates1776 wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 1:14 am It is unusable for Logic in this state. I didn't know that Logic development and support wasn't in-house at Apple.martin-meldaproduction wrote: Wed Oct 02, 2024 2:53 pmAs Vojtech mentioned, the software is not developed by Apple, but by another company. So if the issue is with the way the OS is handling Logic's modal child windows....I your only options are to either code around it or wait for the Logic people to code around it. Ick.
