PreSonus Studio One 7 apparently imminent

Pricing models are always nice to consider -- and not to be a typical gaming-chair volunteer backseat CEO -- but Presonus probably should promote some cool recent features as well as new features coming in the next batch of updates, if they want to encourage people to buy v6 now to get v7 in a couple of weeks.

Yeah, it's sadly often the case that what follows after one promising debut is mostly lulls.BONES wrote: Sat Sep 28, 2024 11:29 pm Yachts had one brilliant album, then went to shit, which is another thing that pisses me off - you're doing good work, why wouldn't you stay the course? In this case they changed direction. Their first album was great, driving Power Pop, then they started doing insipid New Wave, and doing it pretty poorly. I presume they had lineup changes or something, it was quite sad.
Lots of bands evolve - they get better at what they do, which gives them the confidence to explore different things that interest them. Sometimes it's easy for their fanbase to follow them on that journey, other times it can alienate them. Of course, record companies can play a big role, too, trying to get bands to fit into a mould that they are not comfortable with, then dumping them when it doesn't work out.
I find our (NOVAkILL's) journey quite strange but that view is possibly affected by my closeness to it. Whilst I have been happy enough with each of our six albums, and we still play songs from our debut live, I also think we've gotten better and better with each release, without abandoning the core of what we do. I can't think of any other band or artist who has had a similar journey. Bands seem to burst onto the scene with something brilliant, then fade away or change direction and morph into something else. Or they peak after two or three albums and then plateau. Our last two albums have, honestly, been better than I would have believed us capable of, which makes me wonder if we can keep that standard up for the next one. That worried me with the last one, yet we managed to best ourselves again. I really don't know where it comes from but it likely has a lot more to do with the technology available to us than it does with us.

I'm too lazy to check all the previous pages, so based on ChatGPT, is there something that was not mentioned?
The complete feature list for PreSonus Studio One 7 includes several exciting updates and improvements:
Stem Separation: Enhanced tools for isolating sounds, allowing more control in mixing and editing.
Detachable Browser: Designed for multi-monitor setups, the browser can be moved to different screens.
Clip Launcher: A new addition aimed at improving live performance workflows and creative sequencing.
Support for CLAP Plugin Format: Adding flexibility for more types of audio plugins.
Integrated Splice Support: This makes it easier to access loops, samples, and other content from Splice directly within Studio One.
Spatial Audio Monitoring: With support for Apple Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos, you can monitor immersive mixes directly in Studio One.
ProEQ3 and OpenAIR2 Updates: Advanced EQ and convolution reverb tools are now enhanced for more precise sound shaping, including immersive audio support.
Multiple Major Releases Per Year: PreSonus is shifting to a faster feature release cycle, providing regular updates instead of waiting for major numbered releases.
?
It seems there is a secret pact between them and Bitwig—everything but the modulators

Maybe the fact that they haven't announced the version 7 features, and only the licensing update.xbitz wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2024 9:57 am I'm too lazy to check all the previous pages, so based on ChatGPT, is there something that was not mentioned?

https://songmixmaster.com/presonus-stud ... s-features
let's say the screenshot was the most important

"Elements have been redesigned with round corners, CPU usage is slightly reduced, and features like a MIDI harmonizer and new color schemes bring a fresh look."

Until Presonus announces them officially, it's all speculation. Maybe some are accurate, but they haven't been officially announced.Based on the latest official announcements and some leaked screenshots on Reddit

I don't care what happens, just don't hurt my eyes, and let the .dawproject shine like a star in the sky with the .clap format, then it'll be pure joy and happiness.
ps, And let the clip launcher and scratchpad not clash, but become good friends instead.
