Maybe a mini version of Live on a portable device where users can collaborate via bluetooth and sets can be.moved to a computer (direct from Move via USB) and imported as a Live project as is or to be expanded upon but one can also bypass transfership to a computer and sync (via USB) so both Move and Live play in sync for a live set plus Move's controls can be used to control any parameters in Live making for more control options that can be expanded upon with M4L which can be utilized to create a customized Move environment which users can save as a template and uploaded to the Move database and shared with other Movers.
Or maybe it's a big knob.

It’s all one big bit of pressed rubber…one big pad I think, so you would need to replace it all.VOODOO U wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 7:08 pmWell I'll be damned. Yea...like those. Now if they could have replaceable pads.JamminFool wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 5:46 pm like these?

Something like touchable Pro would be really cool.
It was like a push for travelling and holiday because an iPad is really transportable.
It was able to customise own controllers plugins like Lemur and had full control of Ableton.
On the downside it wasn’t stable, so would be cool if Ableton would bring this Gem to the next level !!!

In my opinion, there is still a lot of potential from a finished Ableton project to a stage performance or live act. Perhaps Move will close this gap. So some kind of hardware product for the DJ/live act sector.
But then why the pixelated logo? That actually makes no sense.
Based on the logo alone, I think it will be Ableton's version of the Roli Blocks.
Small gadgets that are modular and help you perform expressively.

Maybe it’s a robot you can buy that will pretend to listen to your latest track?

Didn't Roli make a similar announcement for October 8? Maybe a joint venture?Based on the logo alone, I think it will be Ableton's version of the Roli Blocks.
so yes!!! ...but probably the XXXXL version of it!
I had something similar about 25 years ago, it was called Dance-Mat

Better than the APC40 mkII? APC64 is the only reason they discontinued it.
