There really is no need to supply bugs for a five year old alpha version.

Large progress has been made since we released Filterscape. Like, the surround layer was pretty much rewritten from scratch. It should be awesome now. A vast dev project that dealt with displaying abstract parameter values in meaningful units was reconsolidated in our codebase and numerous bugs fixed.

We have a few more construction areas left before we can publish an update. I'm unhappy with the envelope followers in Uhbik. I'm unhappy that some of the new algorithms are not surround capable yet. The work I did for Filterscape EQ controls has to be translated to Uhbik-Q. The new filter algorithms in Runciter are broken currently, I guess I have to spend a few weeks later this summer on them.

while i appreciate the effort, they're gonna be used Stereo probably 95% of the time, and i'm sure the 95% percent would prefer a new working alpha with less-than-perfect surround for the time being than a better surround in non-accessible build

(I resurrected this because i opened an older project i needed to revisit just to have it crash down on me while stumbling around what i can replace Uhbik-C with)

I'm sure Zebra 3 is getting the majority of the work these days. Any news on Uhbik timeline?

It's steadily being worked on, but we really cannot give a realistic ETA right now. Once we know we are closer to a new beta, we will surely let everyone know.

Uhbik are my favorite plugins. They are definitely the best effects on the market. I continue to use the alpha version despite all the crashes they generate on my M1 Mac. I know how hard development is, and how difficult it is to have perspective on the quality and importance of what we do as developers. I can swear to you that when Uhbik is updated and working properly on my computer, it will be one of the happiest days of my life! I really hope that at least one alpha version will be available before the end of the year. Uhbik is an invaluable secret weapon, whether it is reverb, flanger/chorus, EQ, nothing beats their quality today! It as a magical touch.

It’s only available on the Alpha version, but it’s super buggy on M1 macs so i tend to not use it

There will be a release candidate at some point due to perfect time management.

Please give us control over the oversampling factor when it releases, sometimes you can spare a little sound quality for better CPU usage.
