[Solved]Switch and Trigger Multiparameter Behaviour not working properly

So for what I can tell the Switch and Trigger Multiparameter Behaviour are not working properly:
The switch works ok until one dials in some switch time, result the value stays at maximum.
In trigger mode, regardless of switch time, the value stays at maximum.
From my limited research, the only software where this works correctly is with Reaper, both on mac and pc.
On mac, this fails with Logic, Spectralayers and RX10, and Audacity.
Same for Spectralayers and Audacity. on win 11.
So bravo Reaper, but Melda should look into this and make a priority of fixing this. These are very old features and are an important part of the foundations on which the Melda ecosystem is built.
God knows how many more of these flawed features are lurking around, and how much time I might have wasted wondering if I had misunderstood the functionality of a given feature, which turned out to be flawed.
Are you guys really unaware of these very basic problems?

Sometimes things break. They're going through some big changes lately so that might contribute. If you mention an issue and they find it, they usually fix it.

Hi Hexspa,
Thanks for your reply, you got me a bit curious so I made some more tests: on an old mac mini with version 15 I got the same problems, and also on a pc with version 12. So apparently these issues have been neglected for ages.
This left me puzzled, so I downloaded the sound factory le plugin, and yes, it all works perfectly in this plugin.
So Melda, what's going on here ? Does the sound factory version of the effects benefit from more recent and better maintained code, whereas the effects and MXXX versions are being neglected ? I wouldn't mind getting a answer and in particular a commitment to prioritise fixing this.

No problem in my environment (Reaper & Logic, win10 & MacOS Sonoma (intelCPU) , Melda17.01.00)
It would be better to send a sample scene to the support email to get a definite reply.

Hi ystmrk,
Thanks very much for your post, after further scrutiny and much to my relief, it's working fine here as well
Turns out the issues were due to me not taking into account the plugin's sleep state, as I often work stuff out with Multiparameters relying on the gui's visual feedback, without necessarily having the track enabled or audio passing through.
So I guess I owe team Melda my most humble apologies for my "old code" conspiracy rant
in particular regarding Martin - Vojtech on the other hand, he's use to coping abuse left right and centre
I'll leave my clearly dumb-ass post unedited as a sign of my penitence, but I wouldn't mind editing the title with a "problem solved" indicator.
Cheers Al.
