OK that makes sense. However notice that Plugin Buddy never scans for plugins unless you hit 'rescan'. So usually if a project crashes on load that probably means we have a bug when loading that specific plugin - so a new project with Plugin Buddy hosting another plugin shouldn't do that.fster wrote: Wed Oct 02, 2024 4:26 pmSorry, should have been more specific. I meant to say that Plug-in Buddy crashed on start-up since it looked to VST3 folders (?) and it seemed to violate Cubase integrity.innervisions wrote: Wed Oct 02, 2024 5:08 amWhen you say it crashed, I'm guessing you mean it crashed the project it was loaded in. Is that correct?fster wrote: Wed Oct 02, 2024 5:03 am Mine worked fine for 2 days. Then I loaded Halion Sonic and that worked initially. Fired up Cubase 13 on Windows 11 the following day and it crashed Cubase 13 and shut down. I got several notices from Cubase indicating severe problems (likely from each VST) before it crashed. Had no other option but to un-install it. CAN'T USE IT.
Plugin Buddy is not running any code unless it's explicitly loaded into a project or running in standalone.
If there's a particular Cubase project that crashes, feel free to send it to us and we'll take a look! info@modalics.com
(Also please let us know which plugin is it/send us a Cubase project so we can solve it)
